And I am not sure if it was before or after this, but someone asked ASJ about why they had problems with each other, and he flat out responded, "I don't have a problem." Then he even owned up, and said JDF has a problem with his bragging, and making stuff up. And he said he did. He was young, trying to impress the girls on set, because he had a crush on Amy Jo and Thui. He admitted that he was wrong. And I don't think JDF has accepted that to this day.
I've seen interview of JDF and honestly, I get the feeling JDF was just being territorial about the glory of best ranger. JDF seems very egocentric to me and it seems like he wouldn't like ASJ because he was the red ranger. That's just me though.

I am so disapointed. Tommy was one of my greatest heroes when I was a kid and he saved me when I was going the ”wrong” way when I was a teenager. I had heard of some of these so called ”pranks” but I never belived in them before. Knowing he hurt other people in ring fights, talking thrash about Austin and being disrespectful against David is breaking my very heart.

Honestly, I think it's all believable. I think ASJ probably was egotistical (especially when you're young and star of a show.) as he was the alpha male before JDF. Even ASJ said JDF was sent in to replace him. If you read interviews of Tom Baker who was one of the older Doctor Who actors, he even said there was immediate rivalry; as though the previous actor knew they were leaving something special behind. ASJ may have justified his reasons to leave the show, but that doesn't mean it wasn't special to him and seeing someone else take it over might have jabbed a bit. Ergo, the poster of this video had the correct assessment: 'Two alpha males that didn't quite get along." It happens. That said, JDF shouldn't egg it on. Even though it appears ASJ is taking the high road, I think he's also not clearing his name and is purposefully avoiding it; probably because it is true and doesn't want to relive the shame of his youth; who does? Here's my view on this. I'm also not taking either side as I think it's not fair on the two of them. Austin looks as if he's matured nowadays and I'm proud to see him return to the convention scene this year. However, I feel Jason David Frank can be egotistic at times and a bit full of himself. I like Jason David Frank don't get me wrong, but I THINK he has a bit of an ego due to all the money he makes from convention appearances, Power Ranger related items ETC. He also thinks at times Power Rangers is still a big deal and also thinks he's the reason it's famous. I also heard stuff from the Dino Thunder cast he wasn't really that pleasant towards them but I digress. Austin was the better ranger and leader imo he was a phenomenal actor and when he left I just stopped watching the show from then on even when jdf became the white ranger I still didn't go back to the show never liked jdf but I did like the character of Tommy Oliver always liked the character just not the actor portraying him they should've casted a different actor for the green ranger
at the end of the day who cares. these are the two best rangers from the best installment of the series. enough said.

I can see why JDF doesn't go to Power Morphicon, it's sad to see how JDF shows lack of respect to his comrades from the show i respect them both. sometimes i wish i can meet them in person. but i get the feeling they get tired of the questions some of us fans say to them Austin seems to show respect when he talks to jdf while Jdf just says how him and austin were always had issues with each other. and i can see why david yost left the show after zeo i guess he got tired of jdf pranks or they made fun of him because he was gay. i respect everyone of them but it breaks my heart that they don't let go of the bad conflict they have all i can say is we have to respect them both. because it makes us a better person. but i understand that some people lost respect for them.

Honestly, I think it's all believable. I think ASJ probably was egotistical (especially when you're young and star of a show.) as he was the alpha male before JDF. Even ASJ said JDF was sent in to replace him. If you read interviews of Tom Baker who was one of the older Doctor Who actors, he even said there was immediate rivalry; as though the previous actor knew they were leaving something special behind. ASJ may have justified his reasons to leave the show, but that doesn't mean it wasn't special to him and seeing someone else take it over might have jabbed a bit. Ergo, the poster of this video had the correct assessment: 'Two alpha males that didn't quite get along." It happens.
That said, JDF shouldn't egg it on. Even though it appears ASJ is taking the high road, I think he's also not clearing his name and is purposefully avoiding it; probably because it is true and doesn't want to relive the shame of his youth; who does?
So yeah, moral of the story. Drop it.
Jdf is a martial artist ..respect em..but what ever happen to being a martial artist but not looking for fights. Austin is a martial artist and never see him look for fights . To me Austin is the better martial artist and respects the sport more...

I just get the feeling Austin said something to Jason back then that really got under his skin and neither one of them wants to mention it, both of them for different reasons. Perhaps Austin regrets it now (or not) and perhaps Jason took it too personally. I loved both these guys in their roles, they both can play the hero and villain role great.

I never liked the Tommy...always was about him...not the other rangers. Austin left the show just in time. Zeo and Turbo wasnt the best seasons. In space rescued the PW franchise....not thanks to JDF...he’s the foot ball/ cheerleader captain that never get over of the past glory

I'm also not taking either side as I think it's not fair on the two of them.
Austin looks as if he's matured nowadays and I'm proud to see him return to the convention scene this year. However, I feel Jason David Frank can be egotistic at times and a bit full of himself.
I like Jason David Frank don't get me wrong, but I THINK he has a bit of an ego due to all the money he makes from convention appearances, Power Ranger related items ETC. He also thinks at times Power Rangers is still a big deal and also thinks he's the reason it's famous. I also heard stuff from the Dino Thunder cast he wasn't really that pleasant towards them but I digress.
So yeah, not taking one's side but I think Austin has matured since and looks as if he's grown since. Jason David Frank however, needs a bit of growing up to do.

Maybe this will open your eyes up to the truth that just because u recite some prayer to Jesus one time doesn’t make u a good person and doesn’t erase all the horrible things u could have done in the past or will do in the future. Be a good person for the sake of being a good person and treat others how u want to be treated. “Being saved” was created by fundamentalist Christians to use fear as a way to force people to behave a certain way to coerce them tondo certian things.
