You Brits can use the word “piss” in the most artistic ways. Brilliant.

Handy looking jig that Dan. Also handy little tip about putting graphite in the beeswax. 👌
    All the best

Just watched it and really disappointed … The usual great smithing but not a unit of alcohol was consumed .

I also use my press a lot, but the holes tend to stick. It's a great tool that avoids typing, it's silent

"Punching holes on the piss" sounds like a normal Friday night out with you, Danny Boy.

Looks like an amazing process, but it’s obvious that you have far more patience than I could ever scrounge up. Well done. Cheers.

As fun as presses and power hammers are, sometimes drifting by hand is still hardest to beat for clean, well placed holes.

Very cool slitting jig, great idea!
But honestly I don't get why there are so many 'Typo' comments😅 as far as I remember 'Piss' means something like very watery beer in maybe the Aussie or Kiwi dialect 🤔 if someone could explain it to me I'd be greatful😅

What got me is no biscuit or plug. So when you punch from just one side is that what happens?

In my far smaller experience than most...
The blade type or diamond point type punches do not produce a slug or such a tiny one it's more like unto a burr than a slug.
My own hammer eye punch is built along the lines of a diamond point and has yet to produce a single slug in the 4 heads it's made. That said you do have to pay great attention to tiny detail and be spot on straight or you'll miss and not meet clean
      Blessed days
      Crawford out🙏🔥⚒️🧙🏼‍♂️
