I love Elton John. He is definitely one of my top ten artists 😁. He did a beautiful song as a tribute to John Lennon after he was senselessly murdered. I chatted to Fred Mandel, the guy responsible for the synthesizer melody near the end. He was very friendly and signed my 7" vinyl sleeve of Nikita! David Paton the man playing the funky bass and Dave Mattacks the drummer also signed it! and yes George Michael (R.I.P.) provided the backing vocals along with Nik Kershaw (guitar), Davey Johnstone and Elton. a timeless classic. Elton john is singing about the Berlin Wall built in the 1960s to keep the east germans from coming over to the west. Nikita is a Russian comander he has fallen in love with at first site. The Berlin Wall did come down in 1989.

Or WHEN they sang in the field or walking on the beach for free! 😂

I like your reactions but i'm disappointed that you put this song on aa reaction but not Tori Amos, I guess you don't really like her style or I'm not sure, I was appreciative that you reacted on a stream to it but you couldn't have been more indifferent. No commentary, no love,half watching. She is super talented and Crucify is her best song. You should give it another shot when you can pay full attention. Think about it!
