Yes ! The reason why I use the bufo is because it's protected, because if the tether(one being followed) dies the dimorphs could run off/ not come back
Yes, mostly. They should always return. Just make sure the dimorpodons target range is set to low if they are on aggressive. Otherwise they kinda chain from one target to the next til they are to far to return. You can set them on "Attack my target" but I found that they would often lose interest before they reached a far away target.
Yes! the only thing to keep in mind is some dinos get stuck easier than others and the tether dino has to be rideable but, its a great way to add bodyguards to your tames that wonder to harvest like the beaver @@AAron859318
@@AAron859318 pretty much the same way . The bufo I believe doesn't have an oxygen stat so it makes a good tether any other under water mount could work too and you can have dinos follow a raft if it works better. I did build a type of diamond shaped wall for my bats to keep them a little more hidden I'll post a video of it soon .also have a few more examples of dino turrets I wanted to post .Love the idea btw . The tribe and I have been working on some under water tames recently. I'll have to give the eels a try . Feel free to tag me if you post something would love to see it .
I like that idea. I tried to get them behind a waterfall but they tend to get stuck on the return. thinking of how I might fix that , maybe with a lower target range?
Dimorph towers like this make it a lot harder to raid you. they help defend your turrets. No one is gonna be able to soak your base if you have dimorph swarms around. Their attacks pierce through armor and they will kill you instantly and your tame not long after. Killing the dimorphs is not exactly simple either espically with a lot of health mutations. they get tanky.
Did this on old ark pvp. You're overcomplicating it. I was curious how the Para on turret mode would work. are you using the frog for the low profile for the esthetic ceilings?
@@Sas_HeatherC the frog is protected because it is the tether. If the tether were to get sniped the dimos would not return home . The para on turret mode is to keep them from moving as well as give you an idea of where your flock might be going.
YES! wilds can be pretty squishy. i try to get mine up to AT LEAST 2k hp if able to and the more melee the better. you could put put a tiny bit into weight to prevent them from being encumbered if they are collecting to much but i dont find it as useful as just HP and Melee
Do the parasaur's have to be open where they can see or can they be boxed up
I was thinking the same thing , I think they can be boxed up cause they detect enemies even through my cave walls?? But I’m not sure either
Can the parasaur be the spotter and the one dimorphodons follow?
Yes ! The reason why I use the bufo is because it's protected, because if the tether(one being followed) dies the dimorphs could run off/ not come back
So does this act like a dino leash? Can they be argo way indefinitely or do they always come back

@@bewarebroadcasting9773 i want to do this with eels an barrys for Hard UW base i built. How would you go about doing something like that?

Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it 😋
Ive subbed for the bat tower! Imagine a cave build with a massive flock of these things

If you place a dimorph tower around a tight corner or somthing its gonna be so hard to deal with.

If i breed dimorphodons what should i level their hp and melee to for this?

@bewarebroadcasting9773 aye thanks, i might just set them to disable resource/victim collection so i dont have to worry about it
One giga bite and good bye
So troll lmao i love it
Oh and that didn't explain much either
