Bro can you teach us how to create game asset using pixel art like eastward or any high detail px art? Im so confuse how to create different things in photoshop I don't know what size of them when they were creating ex. is a tree and the character are the same size or need to adjust it when creating them that's why I'm so confused 😵😵
I apreciate the cat
OH MY FOKN THATS SO BEAUTIFUL ART
Hey, how would you write Q in your style of text? It seems like it's too detailed to fit in 4-4, would it have to be 5 long like M and W?
⬛⬛⬛
⬛⬛ ⬛

⬛⬛⬛⬛
This pallette looks beautiful!!
I understand people saying that your Coffe shop is "too colorfull", but is most because in USA the buildings usualy looks grey and "Sad" and they are used to it 👀
Here in Brazil, for example, there's a lot of oranges and colorfull "coffe places", so this Art really feels like home to me 😊
Awesome job as always!!
That makes me wonder: what if he made a simple garden/park image and then refits it a couple of time for different nations. The mixture of stereotype and detail could be quite entertaining!
@@XZaneLP i'd love to steal that idea from you
@@cherri_chip7257 Go ahead, I dont ask for a salary ^^
@@XZaneLP im currently doing a big one but after that i'll use your idea
@@orangemanbat9043 yeah i know thanks
So many people who put themselves down in these comments... don't compare yourself to someone who's been doing this for years if you're just starting out. Self-pity doesn't make you improve, it holds you back. Watch his videos, study his technique, and try to learn from it. Wishing that your pixel art would be on his level is fine but you have to be willing to work for it.
i can’t believe people would bring themselves down rather than admire this beautiful piece
ok that sounded mean but i just love this guys work (especially with the colours) so
Amazing work! This palette just gives some decent chilling vibes.
How about artwork of your cats? Like fluffy robots. ^^
That's a great idea 😂
My brain couldn't see a coffee shop with this pallete. I need to think more out of the box😅
Right
I could see a tea shop
But defenetly not a coffee shop
*and more inside of the pixel*
here in Brazil we have a LOT of coffe shops like these
Yeah it looks like a steampunk generated coffee machine
We need a "Keep it square" shirt
"take care and keep it square"
We have one!
And a "CRT Time" shirt too
Oh oops... we don't yet
Yeah we need this.
I would love to see you redo this as an isometric design and then make a big scene with the mechanics shop, maybe add a few other buildings too
Wow 6 hours every time I hear 6,5,4 hours I think you sit down with small breaks, I never thought about multiple days.keep up the amazing work!
Haha it's been known to happen, but most often I chip away at things slowly 😅
When you split across multiple days you come up with amazing new ideas
great video as always brandon
mason tofts great comment as always mason
The amount of creativity and work you put into drawing, animating, recording, editing, etc. is insane. Always a pleasure to catch one of your uploads!
I love this art series, so happy to see another addition! It's really refreshing too, to see these glimpses of totally mundane things in a cyberpunk world. I know cyberpunk is supposed to be "low life" but I can imagine being happy visiting a coffee shop like this if it were in my neighbourhood. 😁
I wish this collection was available as wallpapers - would you mind if people used it on their desktops?
Thanks dude! I really enjoyed revisiting this series, might have to keep it going from time-to-time. And yeah, I'm always intrigued by the more day-to-day aspects of these worlds; just interpreting normal things through that filter is pretty fun :D
4:26 Out of all the channels I follow, this is the last one where I expected to hear the L I C C
what do you mean?
@@Yolwoocle "In jazz, The Lick is a lick (stock musical phrase) regarded as "the most famous jazz cliché ever". It has been popularised as it is easily adaptable into all keys and modes and is heard in many famous pieces, including many non-jazz pieces."
@@ralphg.curtis9297 that's really cool, thanks for letting me learn something new! :)
Lol I was hoping someone else noticed
I can see how fully rendering one object before moving to the next makes it feel more real because irl, things can just pop up over time, therefore, as more things get added, there's more of a jumble of stuff, making it feel more natural.
At least, that's how I see it.
Yes that's exactly it! Thanks for understanding what I was going for 😅 It's like a natural timeline of layering/build-up
The robot head animation is so simple yet it's so smooth! Amazing how just a couple of frames can feel so fluid!
The way your workflow works is very inspiring. I've definitely increased in skill since I began watching you. Thank you very much
This inspires me so much. thank you for doing what you do.
Last couple of days I been binge watching your videos. You inspired me to start making pixel art plus I think it's a wonderful hobby for this quarantine period. Thank you! You are awesome
ten days ago I watched this video. today I've finished my own little side-view shop based on it. it's not nearly as good, obviously. I still have issues making things as small as possible. but it's always good to have a project and this gave me that. thanks Brandon!
Amazing as usual, thanks for sharing the creative process!
Try listening to this at half the speed. Brandon sounds like your totally baked friend explaining all this art stuff he's into
Haha
I absolutely love your style of pixel art.
It’s so nice
A model cannot be made without the idea of it
Omg u did great of this at the start i can already imagine it in 3d so nice
Watching this actually inspire me to start my pixel art journey. Thank you for the great video.
Great video as always! Thanks for not withholding your process, and instead sharing it with all of us. Excited to see what's next! :)
This videos was awesome, keep this wonderful work.
Your art style is inspiring!
Got a lot of insight from listening to your commentary! Thank you!
this acctually inspired me for my own version of it :D thanks Brandon!
i hope someday i can be like you even though i am colorblind.
Hey, you can make some pretty interesting art considering your condition, use what you have as an advantage, because the only thing that matters to make a good composition color theory wise is the value of the colors you're using (basically how colors appear in black and white, how light and dark they are), some interesting art pieces could come out of this, especially if you want a surrealist or fantasy setting and characters, you'll never know until you try, don't give up man!
Hi! I just discovered your channel and have been binge watching your videos, but my faves are these timelapse videos, they have been really helpful and inspiring for me, it not easy to find such quality content about pixel art on the internet, so thank you very much for putting this up.
You, mister, are one epic artist!
You are a genius! I m learning from these videos!
Here in Edmonton we actually have a "Mini Amsterdam" in downtown, and there are a lot of colorful and small houses! the houses are so small that they are more like sheds!
Love it! 💞💞
Nice job! Also I took the freedom of making an 8-bit song based on that cute chord progression right at the end of your video! I shall be uploading it soon once I get a nice thumbnail for it!
I'm also learning pixel art, so I thank you for the timelapse, it's really inspiring!
I really love your work, a couple of month's ago, I've agarres with pixelart and tour channel has been really helpfull
I really like your approach. Very inspiring!
Awesome stuff as always
My dude you always make me want to jump on to my computer and create thanks
love this. always learning when you upload something new.
i would love to see your take on a Solarpunk themed shop of some sort.
Wow I don't think I've actually ever heard of this subgenre, but just looked it up and it's awesome! I'll have to visit that at some point, thanks! :D
Looks great! I love the way you animated the robot
Awesome!
holy ... you have done it again this is just epic
Amazing!!!
This looks awesome
Awesome work!
Who else wants a game drawn completely by BJG?
I do, we all really need it.
Man, now I want a cappucino.
0:20 :simple blocks that anyone can do

EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CRT TIME?! I'm in love.

So good i cant
OMG!! i love this this is awesome i really like ur style
keep what u doin
Simplesmente incrível !!! 😍🔥
Hmm can't still imagine that color pallette in a coffee pixel art
Same
No need to imagine, there's literally an example at 1:45
@@SunilNmb & HUMSKI i think the red's and oanges could be used for the coffee , and the blues and whites coud be used for the mug

Your art makes me feel things...
Uhh o..k
Oohhhhh kay........
Guys I was talking about a really strong nostalgia, and admiration. Why are you reacting like that? Weirdos
Good stuff lad keep it up
I just looked at the thumbnail and knew it was gonna be a good video
you are a genius!!!
This palette is better than my art
agreed
love ur content, i started make a instagram account about pixel art
all because ur channel 🙌🙌🙌
Very interesting video ♥! As a current RUclipsr, I am on the lookout for creative ideas! Great Job!
Oh, that's a pretty palette! I'll have a look tomorrow... Would like to work on a piece now because I got kinda inspired while watching you, but then it's almost midnight. I'll probably do it tomorrow. Thanks for the video!
EDIT: Oops almost 2 days already and I haven't even started... Got stuck on the piece I'm working on using AAP-64... Turned out way bigger than I anticipated and planned.
Wow, this is awesome! Love the palette choice - and how you implement it. Do you have any guides on how to set up the CRT to the correct ratio?
I know it’s not, but you make this look so easy... great work!
i don’t know how, but i randomly came across this palette super late at night, way after watching this video. what are the odds
I never get tired of watching these videos. I'd love to see you do a Shining Force style battle scene of Link facing off against Calamity Ganon.
ah yes, another video! let us watch!
I want to learn pixel art so bad, I admire your talent and this right here is why. I wanna learn but don't know where and how to start.😹
You are a pro artist
the middle bit on top of the building looks like a coffee press, kinda like a threaded thing
Que lindo!!!
You are a legend
Holy your so good
Epic...
PIxel Art games brought me here, and changed how i see this genre ever since. before this vid, i thought pixel art is mostly computer rendered. Pixel Art requires equal ,if not , more amount of effort to pull off when compared to traditional art ~~ thanks for opening my eye!!!:)))))
Nice as always! Thanks for sharing it. I think that it was a good idea to comment about how long it took you to make this image during multiple days.
Loving your work and style! Just wondering if you could do a tutorial for pixel-art clothing or hoods. Thanks for all the great tutorials and artwork regardless tho!
The Netherlands for the win!
i would actually buy a shirt with your pixel art style on it.
Is it a coincidence that I saw the same palette while browsing through lospec
I really like ur channel!
I think I watched all ur videos at least twice :D
Do u think u might make videos in the future helping/"judging" artwork that has been sent to you?
I think u might see some problems beginners have, and it might be interesting to talk/make a video About.
So yeah just throwing the idea out there!
Hey thanks for your support! And yes I think I'd like to do critiques, I'm just not prepared for the flood of entries I'd be opening myself up to.. 😅
@@BJGpixel haha I get what u are saying :D
That would be interesting to watch. Though one artist "judging" another seems weird. No less, he could talk about it and perhaps find intuition. He could even do a retake of some or refit some together, that have a matching theme. Who knows...
Kind of reminds me of the coffee shop decal in Celeste just because it’s a coffee shop and it’s about the same size lol
There’s this really cool pixel art game called “we happy restraint” I just like to art style of it, it’s really high quality and very detailed
I'm liking your content very much. Perhaps you could do an isometric sprite analysis, say one from Final Fantasy Tactics. I love the character sprites and the boss sprites are crisp. The boss Belias is a fantastic example
Wow
cool content you deserve more subscribers
i love your vid:333
CRT time? Oh, it's so terrible...I LOVE IT!
Waaaaw
I’ve been trying to do pixel art scenes and I can never think of the little details and accents that end up decorating a building, do you use certain references or something for the lights, wires, etc?.
Would you ever draw a place from real life? I would love to see something from the real world turn into pixel art.
Bradon James Greer your work is very inspiring, i would like to know two things you can probably get asked a lot.
- How you come up with ideas for your images
- How long does it take from having a idea, to sketch to finish artwork
greetings from -
a fan of your work and subscriber of the channel
Thanks for the great video! 😃 I'd like to be able to make something like that too! While creating your artworks, do you use a graphic tablet or your mouse? 😊
You should do a sprite analysis of GBA sprites. GBA games have sole of the best pixelart I've ever seen
awesome work, bravo! what is your photoshop canvas size?
how you make your pixel so clean? any tips?
nice work man
i have a question
im new in pixel art & drawing
when i wana make a new work
i make it with black color only & lines
next i chose my colors & test which color is good on this part
i mean i have no palet
& after my work is finished
i used adjusments in photoshop & again make my work looks better
so im doing good? or i should pick palets first & next make my job?
I am always delighted to see your work (so is my 5 years old son btw, kids are the best critics), but there is one downside to this piece of art in the end: there is no spilled coffee or coffee stain of any kind in the scene. Clearly a missing thing for every coffee fan oh and for women: no donkey-milk or otherwise obscure alternative to milk? ^^
I wonder how many ideas people should/could give you for images, but I bet, if you asked them, you would receive numerous ideas... give it a try, if you ever miss out on new (probably ridiculous) ideas. People deliver, trust me. It is the internet after all...
Hey thanks! Yeah I've taken suggestions before and it definitely helps to come up with things that I would not have otherwise attempted, I'll keep it in mind for future ideas! And there is a spilled coffee cup and splash stain btw - next to one of the cats (of course) - you can see me start to work on it at 8:50 but I guess it isn't super obvious 😅
@@BJGpixel Alright, that mistake is on me. I obviously didnt pay enough attention to Details. ^^
Speaking of ideas: do a pixel-version of the Frythans from Seven Kingdoms 2 or consider, how the whole squad from the Mass Effect Trilogy would look like in pixel art.
I bet many people are curious to see more than just the original pixel heroes (Sonic, Mario etc) and wouldnt mind more recent "art go pixel-style".
Perhaps you make a quick video asking for suggestions or just add this in the middle of one of the future works, a plain sentence (and your inbox is full of suggestions) is more than enough to motivate people for sure.
Anyhow, keep having fun with your work. We enjoy watching anyway!
What a lovely art!!! How big is this screen size for this art?
