A bit of a longer video this week, but I wanted to try to include the painting process I went through as well. I hope you enjoy the video, and find something useful to you in your own projects. Big thank you to www.ziterdes.com for providing the terrain and pigments for this video today, if it wasn't for sponsors like this, I wouldn't be able to show you nearly as many different products on the channel, or try as many different ideas. Take care and all the best everyone!
Thank you. I find it difficult to throw out anything that I MIGHT use for a build in the future, as such, I have way too much stuff sitting around waiting to be used. Feels good when using it works out though. Cheers for the comment mate.
Came up great although for the first half of the video I was shaking my head (literally) thinking "I dont see it, looks weird". Then the usual BOOM and the penny drops as it comes together. The Ziterdes stuff looks great, from the box it seems like Battlefield in a Box type arrangement.
Hahaha, that's EXACTLY how I feel through most of these builds :) . The Ziterdes stuff was great to work with, being foam makes it very easy to manipulate for extra details. Thanks for watching and commenting Ian. Take care mate.
Thanks mate, I've really enjoyed playing around with it. It certainly gives a new perspective to pre-made terrain once you start thinking about what else it could be, or how you can dress it up. Cheers for the comment. Take care and all the best!
Thanks mate. I'm a bit excited to do some more of this theme, I think it will look good once I get a few more pieces together. Thank you for watching and commenting mate.
An amazing paint job! This build is one of my instant favorites... Good to see you're back Shawn! Always good to see your projects brother! Greetings and keep safe!
Thanks mate. I've just emailed the guys at Ziterdes to see if there is a local distributor for these in Australia. I'll get back to you as soon as I hear something.
My opinions 1. Too much bulk, not enough space for gamers to utilize the terrain. In essence all it is doing is blocking LoS. 2. The wood element blends in with the rubble. 3. The blue is too bright. Rust needs more red-brown It's decent enough, but I think you can do better.
Thanks for your insights Mike, I'm always glad to get some feedback. I plan on doing some more stuff like this, so I'll keep this is mind when I get started on the next lot. Cheers.
@@RFDHobby I like watching your stuff. I wasn't trying to be a Danny Downer. I haven't delved too deeply into your channel, it got into my feed only recently. I don't know if you make terrain just to make it or if you actually game with it.
@@miked.9364 No worries at all mate. I don't game with it at this stage, but I really do appreciate any feedback relating to how usable any of this stuff is. Most of the terrain on the channel is built with gaming, or miniatures at least, in mind. It's always in my mind, and it's sometimes a conscious trade off between scale and play-ability. But generally, if it's going to look good on my shelf (where it's going to be most of the time either way), I'll just go for it. Most of my builds recently are me just trying out new ideas and materials, I don't have any expert knowledge to really pass on, so I'm always keen to hear suggestions and thoughts. Thanks again for commenting.

Nice one, great character and detail. Nothing is sacred, nothing is trash, everything is raw material. I like it!

Looking good ! The Ziterdes stuff is a great base to make some cool terrain, fast.

Very neat build, though your audio seemed extremely quiet this time around.
Thank you, and I appreciate the feedback as well, I'll make sure to double check it when I post the next one. Sorry about that.
@@RFDHobby Thanks! Always glad to see one of your videos. I love your style on terrain, especially on your ruined urban stuff and rubble.

The rubble pile can surely be climbed up
