Nice! Travelling to LAX on BA A380 WT+ next week. Looking forward to it. Just a mention about that condor airlines livery, it’s …..well it’s awkward! There must be a reason for it, it’s not aesthetic.

Regarding the Condor livery: I like it. It's different and stands out.

I've been curious about taking one of these to San Francisco since I usually take the 777 from Air France. But besides the novelty is there much difference in economy once you're settled into your normal seat?

The main difference in economy is the space you get above you, there is a more “airy” feel to the A380 over the 777, that’s what I noticed the most, certainly helps on the 10/11 hour flights!

@@farringtontravelco Oh that's interesting. I also heard from one that it's quieter but not sure if that depended on location. I always manage to grab the exit row on the 777 so it gives me space but it also rather central.

@@kueller917 A380 is definitely quieter than 777, it’s actually also quieter than A350/787 despite having 4 engines rather than just 2

Wow. Someone’s Salty! Perhaps some specific description of your experience would prove more useful. IAG is indeed Spanish registered but has its head office in London. But I’m still not sure how all that is relevant to the experience a passenger has. I would like to know more.

FAILURE to invest (or even maintain) systems for over a decade. IT internal and external that's not only unreliable but user unfriendly and slow, worst on time performance in the UK, HUGE marketing spend yet don't deliver the products marketed eg catering, essentially no functional customer service channels eg when no notice cancellations happen, multi-month wait for refunds, expenses and in some cases, legally due compensation.
Yet, record profits both prior to and post pandemic.
