    You should do a study on how many people are vitamin d deficient and the seriousness of consequences to have low levels. Then compare it with percentage of people who have vitamin d toxicity through supplements. That would be more informative and interesting

    It’s not as simple as saying this there are too many factors to consider. One reason indian people have less vitamin D is also the darker skin. The darker your skin the less vitamin d sun exposure gets you requiring more sun exposure than a pale white person for example. Many people have problems with the micro biome in their stomach that is the problem I have been facing I was extremely deficient in vitamin D my level was only 17 when I found out. I then proceeded to take 125 mcg every single day along with 200 µg of vitamin K Mk7 form. And after six months of taking this large dose every single day I was still very deficient I had only gone up to 24. I had to start taking 10,000 iu a day orally and I was taking vitamin D injections once a week of 100 mcg. After almost 6 months of doing that I am just now not deficient I don’t have high levels by any means but I’m not deficient anymore and it took all that. Like 5 to 6 times the recommended amount is what it took for me to just not be deficient. Lifetime of over eating sugar left my gut microbiome wrecked. Certain probiotics like a certain strain of Reuteri I believe it’s found in life extensions heart health probiotic it contains a strain of a probiotic that is shown to increase vitamin D levels so I’m guessing that helps restore your stomachs microbiome to a point where your body can naturally absorb it normally it again from your diet. Also vitamin D will not do what it is supposed to do if you are deficient in vitamin K or magnesium magnesium and vitamin K are extremely essential for the vitamin D cycle and everything its supposed to do if you are deficient in magnesium or vitamin K then having enough levels of vitamin D is still not going to be good enough you will not get the benefits you’re supposed to so you have to make sure you’re not deficient in any of those three if you want to get the real benefits from vitamin D. Magnesium deficiency is incredibly common especially. Also another important note the amount of body fat you have makes a huge difference as well since this is a fat soluble vitamin so all of you overweight people have to be more careful for sure. And that’s why you take vitamin K to prevent hypercalcemia especially the buildup of calcium in your arteries pretty much anywhere it’s not supposed to be. The main advice you should’ve given to people is that they need to get regular blood work done especially when taking higher doses of vitamins to control how it’s affecting their levels they need blood work, blood work is essential.

      I liked your post. However, I would like to add to whoever is reading that leafy greens are rich in both vitamin K and magnesium. Seeds and nuts are also high in magnesium. Try to obtain them by natural means is always the best option unless there is underlying health issue that prevents normal nutrient absorption.

    • @IloveCamels335
      @IloveCamels335 Год назад +10

      @@eriksonyw unfortunately leafy greens will not help you as the vitamin that’s needed to put the calcium in the bones and not calcify arteries or deposit it as kidney stones is not vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) which is the one found in leafy greens. What you need is K2 which is much more found in animal products, like cheeses or goose liver or grass fed products and pastured egg yolks. One food item that is very rich but not commonly part of diet unless you live in Japan is Natto, which has the highest k2 content, it’s a sticky food it’s basically fermented soybeans.

I couldn't wake up in the morning, not doing any work with interest, crying without any reason. I checked my vitamin d levels which is less than 20 nmol very deficiency. I've been taking 5000 iu for the past 3 years; still, I couldn't get my level above 30 ng/liter. It is not easy to overdose D3 unless you supplement 200000 iu/day. D3 is fat-soluble and those who are obese and overweight will have difficulty getting enough as the hormone D3 gets absorbed into the fat tissues and only less gets absorbed into the bloodstream. 30 ng is enough just to maintain your bones, but you need 50 ng to maintain a healthy immune system. 50 to 80ng is the optimum level.

      @@Nishiki2407 Magnesium and K2 are crucial with vitamin D, magnesium is important to actually activate it, excess vitamin D will just get stored for later use. You could theoretically make up to 40,000 IU's a day if you get enough sun when you can and have enough stored for winter but you'd need like ~2 hours during peak UV index nearly naked so it's not realistic. I live in the country though and get 4 hours between jobs around then, so I can barefoot walk with just shorts on, a lot of the time I supplement for convenience. With regular sun starting with moderate UV index early in the year, you can get used to very high UV index without burning if you stay consistent.
      If a person gets a lot of active vitamin A(from animal foods) especially from a supplement, it's very important to balance it with vitamin D too as vitamin A toxicity is more of a concern, I think it's best to use vitamin D oil on skin and for men on the balls is great for boosting testosterone if you can't get sun on them lol. It works, I can just feel it. Doing nofap also increases the brain's sensitivity to testosterone so that's how I'm so sure it really does work, I notice the difference it makes.
      I'm starting to think that one reason the RDA for calcium is so high and it seems to get pushed to get it in diet or supplement it, despite soil depletion of magnesium and the RDA of vitamin D being like 1/10th what maintenance is, and also vitamin K2 deficiency being so common, is because high calcium increases sensitivity to EMF where magnesium is a calcium channel blocker so it decreases sensitivity to EMF, particularly man-made EMF. People don't realize humans are electromagnetic especially our brains, I think people underestimate the impact man-made EMF can have on things like cognitive development especially kids born and raised around it. The human brain both emits and is sensitive to EMF including naturally from other people's brains, that's why people more or less get positive or negative vibes from people, it depends on mental state. Not sure if it's confirmed but there was that supposed leak from the FDA of a list of things they want banned, and magnesium was on it so you'd need a prescription for it. People say radiation from the sun is much worse, but don't realize humans have evolved with it for thousands and thousands of years.

    I agree with several of the first set of comments I read. A Vitamin level of between 30 and 70 is what was refer to in this video as 'normal'. There are many researchers who recommend a level between 50 and 90. Another set of studies showed (supposedly) that there were almost no deaths due to Covid-19 with levels above 50. Vitamin D with K2, magnesium, boron and zinc will ensure optimum absorption and ensure calcium ends up where you want and need it. An optimal concentration of vitamin D in the blood is around 40-60 ng/ml, which translates to 8000-9000 IU of vitamin D. And your body does not absorb 100% of the supplement; only around 60-80%. So you need to take at least 10000 IUs just to meet the normal concentration in the blood. Why didn't you mention that you have to take K2 with D supplements. That is an important way to avoid the kidney stones.

    • @kaydee5639
      @kaydee5639 Год назад +2

      Very few doctors know about Vitamin K2. I have never found any doctor speaking about K2. K2 prevents deposition of calcium in kidnneys, arterial wall causing thickening of blood vessels and line pressure increase better known as blood pressure. VITAMIN D acts as a prohormone useful for proper glucose utilisation and produces a protein osteocalcin which helps to carry calcium from gut to circulation to different organs while addition of K2 converts osteocalcin to another protein called matrix GLA protein MGP. This prevents deposits of calcium in blood vessels and kidneys. Thus Vitamin K2 is required to activate both osteocalcin and MGP, which essentially regulate where calcium goes. Without vitamin K2, these proteins are useless. Vit K2 also known as
      Menaquinone-7 (MK-7) and requires 120 mcg Once daily.

    The major point you missed is to check blood Vitamin D 25 hydroxide level on regular intervals if once found deficient or insufficient (in every 6 months). If it is below 30 then one can start taking a higher dose (about 5000IU per day) and if it reaches 70 then stop taking higher dose and take 500-800 IU (15-20 mcg) per day daily for rest of the life. That's simple.

    And what is too much vitamin D3? A study in the past showed that the Masai herdsmen in Kenya outside in the sun produced the equivalent of 10,000 iu's of vitamin D3 every day (l would say it may be the same for any people near the equator with a high amount of dark skin pigment). So to have too much you would probably have to take more than 10 x 1000 iu capsules a day. Indeedvstudies have shown it is a lot more.

      Seek a liquid form - 6 drops per day initially , until your urine goes bright yellow then cut back to 1 drop alternate days , or less , as B12 is stored well in the liver .
      With the liquid form , there's no next day 'cannary yellow urine' , it takes a couple of days . Once up to normal - bright yellow , drop back to 1-2 drops per fourtnight .
      I've been useing it after being diagnosed with a severe shortage , the cost over the long term , was worth it. .

    What are the symptoms of D3 overdosage? With an adequate D3 intake people are more carefree, loving, grateful, forgiving, appreciative and less unecessarily urgent in their activities, they are less ambitious, less bossy, less demanding, less judgemental, less prone to scolding others, and less aspirational, so more content. The opposite is true of people with D3 deficiency, which is why capitalism most likely evolved, and competition, one upmanship, deciet, corruption, greed, materialism, acquisitiveness, racism, ingratitude, ambition and many other negative characteristics of white culture exist, including wars, theft, inequality, inequity and much more. I would ask one question: are there more people suffering D3 deficiency that people overdosing on it? Of course there is, which may explain, the vaste problems present in the world specifcally in "dog eat dog" free market economic systems, where it is not enough that all people have enough, but that some - the few - should have much more than the majority. A failing of a system.

    Let's all fear taking vitamin D3, an active hormone which is vital for people's health particularly strong bones and a healthy immune system to fight of infections., especially in the northern hemisphere where there is a lack of sun. While big pharma properly prescribed medications kill between 10-20,000 people each year in America alone. How many deaths do you hear about vitamin D overdose?
    No wonder vitamin D deficiency is high in Idnea because too many people have their skin covered, especially women, and they have chemtrails in the sky geoengineering the artificial clouds that block out the sun. There is a war on the immune system.
    It is vital that vitamin K2/(MK7) is taken with vitamin D, and not just any vitamin D, it must be vitamin D3. K2 removes calcium from the arteries and soft tissues and diverts it to the bones.

    Unfortunately this video is misleading. Firstly, nowhere was it mentioned on the importance of having your vitamin D3 levels tested. Secondly, hyperglycemia (too much calcium in your blood - that leads to calcification of organs and joints) is avoided by taking vitamin K2 (preferably as menaquinone-7, MK-7) because K2 drives the calcium in your blood and from your tissue into your bones. Thirdly, the dosages mentioned are irrelevant in India because of the different skin tones. Although mentioned, darker skin metabolizes much less vitamin D in the skin. A much interested viewer of Gravitas, this video was a disappointment

    • @marios.2848
      @marios.2848 Год назад
