I dont buy that at all with Cruz. Cruz makes some of the worst decisions ive seen a pro baseball player make and thats not team player development thats a total lack of feel for the game of baseball.
You guys are missing the forest from the trees. This current Pirates ownership/organization would have you saying the same thing about Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle if they were in the organization. Name the last player this organization developed internally and produced at an all star level for the Pirates. I'll be waiting.

@@ojiisanthewise7260 it doesn’t matter either way though cuz Skenes will be on another team in 3 years. Look I gave up on the bucs in 2017 when we got rid of Cutch. That’s like if the Pens got rid of Crosby, or the Steelers got rid of Ben. Unforgivable. You should just let them go, like I did lol
@@keebmack I feel your sentiment and don't disagree. However, the last time I quit something, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand happened and all hell broke loose, so I can't give up on them. ;-)
Most games we attend are AA level. Watching him then he looked like a kid who WAS the best athlete on the field as an early teenager. If he wanted to win he had to cover the entire field. Watching him sprint 150 ft out of position into left center field is uncomfortable. Was hoping Michael Taylor would be able to help teach him to play his own position. Also observed 3 throwing errors in 1 inning from him. When will he actually be taught how to play the game? You are spot on, John. He never has looked like a baseball player.

Ive watched Cruz a gandful of times the last two seasons and hes shown thinfs here and there but he has been really pathetic this year with some of the worst strikeouts ive ever seen in mlb.
And there is no reason a 6-7 player should be playing shortstop, thats ridiculous, put him at 3rd or right field, hes got a great arm.

@@BenDover-kb2th Cruz has no feel for the game so when hes in moments when he cant just athlete his way out he embarrasses himself consistently. He has the worst swings and misses at pitches ive ever seen.
