Looks like your screen recording was slightly off-centre and took away a smidge of the right part of the grid, could still see all the number though. Nice and smooth puzzle today, 12:18.
Hi what program/site do you use to solve the nyt sudokus, I've noticed its not the same interface and I like the features like the selecting and red candidate highlights
Firstly, thanks so much for always posting a SudokuPad link alongside your videos 😊 But recently, the link cannot be integrated into the app Does anybody know the reason for this issue?
@@Rangsk It’s iOS. When I click on the link in your video description, it always opens the webview of the SudokuPad. I can solve the sudoku within the browser no problem but sometimes when I click the link at the top to integrate the sudoku in the SudokuPad app the app opens and instead of integrating the sudoku there’s a popup showing that the link is invalid. It always shows that error for the same links. Now though, when I open the link in the browser I can’t even click on the option at the top of the browser version to integrate it into the app. The link to SudokuPad is visible but clicking on the link doesn’t do anything. I hope it is understandable.
I think it is because the app was made and shared by the Cracking the Cryptic guys and not NYT. Also, Rangsk has a video where he shows how to use -Sudoku setter f-puzzle- to import any puzzle you want in to the app. I love the separate corner/middle markings.
@@gfrederickson I just want to add a correction here because I think this is the common assumption, but it's not really true. Sven created SudokuPad with CTC in mind, but he is not directly associated with CTC. They did not contract him to make it, and in fact he made it first, and then pitched it to them to see if they wanted to use it. He created the webapp for free because he saw what they were using and thought he could provide a higher quality experience. He maintains SudokuPad as a full time job, but CTC does not pay him. His only funds come from mobile app sales of SudokuPad along with direct support on Patreon. In fact, he has a promotion deal with CTC where they promote SudokuPad in exchange for a significant percentage of gross sales revenue. I provide SudokuPad links to the NYT puzzles myself because I want people to have a nicer solving experience. None of this has anything to do with CTC or the inability to import into the SudokuPad app. I've let Sven know about the issue being encountered and hopefully he'll be able to fix it. I know he's been very sick recently so it will likely have to wait until he's recovered.
30 min for me. Still learning from you every day! Thanks.
11:01 to solve. Thanks as always for sharing these great puzzles!
This was straightforward and fun for me as well. In my solve, band 3 collapsed very quickly and the rest of the solve proceeded from there.
Good solve, thanks!

Yeah, I noticed that in the edit :( It'll be fixed for next time!

What platform? (iOS, Android, Steam) And can you describe the issue in as much detail as possible?
