Oh, 2008 interview. That answers a few questions. The first of which would have been "Why no references to Harry And Paul?" That must be close to the funniest TV program I have ever seen. Few interviews have made me laugh as much as this did since seeing Billy Connolly on Parkinson in the 1970s (maybe 1980s). I am sure these two know one another quite well, but leaving that hindsight thought to one side, the way they bounced off one another in this was gold. Thanks a whole lot, I loved it, every minute.
Loved the French film noir they did with a sexy Arabella on a bed, asking questions in French to Charlie and after about 5, Paul comes in and in a French accent says does anyone fancy a pint.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Paul has always been a gobby sod, and they've been friends for decades: It was probably a combination of teasing, knowing what she was going to say before she finished saying it, and perhaps occasionally forgetting it was actually an interview and not just a chat with his old mate, trying to make her laugh.
The love box in your living was a brilliant skewering of the BBC and murdoch. That was thier 100th anniversary special for the BBC. I love the sketch of the daleks exterminating members of BBC board. Harry giving paul a pen and harry says you will have to fill in a form for that. Very funny. The end where mannerwaring is walking in Park and pike says he comes from a place up north called mancunia. Was a very pointed and bittersweet way to end. Before the end credits roll Enfield and whitehouse show a montage how important the BBC is
Two charming and talented people - frank and honest. Delightful!
I've had a massive crush on Arabella Weir for years. Her role as Beth in Two Doors Down is brilliant.
I remember listening to this and thinking what a good interaction from them ... Paul seems a really good guy
Paul is an absolute legend.
Used to be for me aswell, but not now, after his treatment of Graham Linehan.

Me again, thanks for these- they’re brilliant.
23:25 - 24:48.
Nice to know Johnny's worship of him is ENTIRELY returned! 😂😂❤❤❤
Thanks for posting.
Thanks for uploading this. I'm a Fast Show fan.
I did graduate from the University of East Anglia and I've never heard of called that before!
Properly funny people. What a treat.
Finally, a proper interview! 👏😅
Paul was excellent in the death of stalin. what a crazy wonderful film that was.
England's funniest man. Period
He’s Welsh.
Paul is now 64 so this recording is quite old.
Brilliant.
oh fuck! wonderful!
Suits you sir, best characters ever...
Yes they were sir! Oh!
'Suit you' - Charlie Higson is very firm about that in interviews.
('Firm is it sir?' etc.)
Paul Whitehouse and harry Enfield skewering Jeremy Clarkson by way of Alan whicker is a genius idea.
I saw the Clarkson Island sketch and it's still funny as it was when it first aired 14 years ago.
Cool
Paul Whitehouse is 64 now - so this is from 14 years ago? Wow.
@@crispindry2815 yes, and it sounds like someone never left.
@@crispindry2815 Dick
Thanks, that's all I wanted to know
@@craigpardy6204 So stop being a prick.
@@crispindry2815 bunch of tossers in this comment thread!!
Huge fan of the Fast Show in which both Whitehouse and Weir were fantastic in. And Arabella ‘Does my bum look big in this?’😂😂😂😂😂😂

Have you seen Arabella Weir in ‘Two Doors Down’, the Scottish sitcom currently on BBC iPlayer? Very good, well worth a watch!
@@tomthomassony8607 Yes she's fantastic in it.Her accents pretty good as well as both her parents were Scottish.
Her first question should’ve been, “does my bum look big in this?” :).
Why? The fast show series only ran from 1994-1997, this interview was in 2008.
@@akaNOCTURN jesus, are you that unable to recognise a joke?
2008?! Get out
(he talks over her quite a lot)
Yes I noticed that, barely lets her finish a question. Great interview all the same

Comedy genius, very funny but slightly weird.
No offence
I don't know the history between Harry and Paul, did they have a huge falling out or something?
Yeah, Paul slept with Harry’s wife.
At least that’s what Paul said .
Obviously Joking…….or was he.
No, they're still very close.

But the funniest sketch of the show was brilliant, dark and very funny spoof of house of cards , porridge Johnson. That was mercilessly
