Jeju truly is a beautiful place - but we found it quite hard to navigate as foreigners (granted, we went there at the start of July - literally 2 or 3 weeks after the borders were opened to foreigners.) There were a few mainlanders there to play golf who were happy to talk to us and were very surprised that a youngish couple from Scotland would go all the way to Jeju on vacation. We will definitely be going back though as we spent the whole 4 days at Jeju City aside from trying to climb Mt. Hallasan. We would love to check out Seogwipo and explore more when we are more confident in our Korean speaking!
