Since I was a kid I never liked Mondays. As an adult I still don’t like Mondays. I don’t think that will ever change. On the bright side, there are 6 other days of the week to enjoy 😊
Thank you Jimmy, not only does your content make me happy but I see how it has been improving. Love the places you visit and enjoy watching you eat all the delicious food. It’s nice to know people are so nice everywhere you go. Keep it up!
The dumbass that started that whole movement still couldn't get into the college he wanted after getting rid of affirmative action and just screwed other Asians out of admission.
I’m so glad to see Jimmy doing well these days, it’s been a while since I watched his videos but I always come back whether it’s in 2 months or 6 months. I’m glad Jimmy is doing well and getting that sponsorship money 😈😈😈

@@jimmykimtv Yeah Monday’s suck because we all have to go back to work and all that so watching something easy and lighthearted when I come home is nice!
Katsudon Chiyomatsu was quite literally the best meal I've had in Japan (I've only been to Japan once though, but I went to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka). It's crazy to say that a bowl of fried pork over rice is the best meal I've had in a country known for their beef and seafood, but this Katsudon was really that good. The 1.5 hours queue was worth it!
My friend showed me your channel and let me just say I fell in love with your content. I just subscribed and I'm going on a Jimmy Kim marathon for the rest of the night! ❤
Thank you so much for addressing depression and anxiety, including a resource to help. That is thoughtful. Enjoy your sense of humor and bravery regarding large quantities of food.
The big portion food video is finally here.. I enjoyed it. Saw a video on that tonkatsu place somewhere and always wonder how they got the meat to cook through, now i know... now it sounds good because it's like the best of both worlds (slow cook and deep fried) meeting
Glad you got to try Pommier! And I agree it's not the best food I've ever had in Japan, but it's worth the value! It's a favorite of people who live nearby since it is a lower income area.
Kinda can't believe your channel hasn't popped up on my fyp until now. I am very glad that it finally did, and I subscribed because of your content and your overall positivity ❤
Went to the Sumo Tonkatsu place when I traveled to Japan, surprisingly had a little wait at the time. My god was it delicious, definitely one of if not the best I've ever tried 🤤
Hi Jimmy. Loved the video! The Sumo meal looked delicious. My mouth was watering just watching. I had no idea you had music on Spotify until I saw this video. I’m always on Spotify so checked it out. It was absolutely perfect to wind down and chill late at night. ☺️
There is an anime, which aired few months ago. It’s in a magic academy and the students there have marks ( lines ) their faces to show how „strong“ they are. The main character had no magic power but is like super strong. Dunno the name but your hairstyle looks like him lmao. Nice 👍 the main character seems to have no feelings but he always cared / protected his friends
Yeah, I am definitely gonna support your content, I find it very entertaining, the food are delicious, and also your way of speaking is really just nice, even in your sponsor message
Maaan all these meals look so good! I don’t think it’s expensive at all, it’s pretty in line with US prices for that portion, might even be cheaper in Japan compared to US.
Jimmy, my face when that eel omelet came out hahaha😅. My family is in Osaka now and your video release was in Osaka today, what a coincidence! We are probably just eating regular size food while we are here, though.
Bro I remember seeing Jimmy when he had barely any subscribers. I haven't watched him for a few weeks now but seeing him with so many subscribers is so nice to see.
Tonkatsu and unagi are two things I really want to try. These looked delicious uncle Jimmy. Thank you for taking us around and showing us awesome food!
tonkatsu is easy to make at home if you're okay with deep frying! just be sure to pound the pork chop before to make it tender. Unagi you have to buy, lol
@@skengels I might try to make tonkatsu someday, but deep frying does make me nervous haha. No where near where I live sells unagi, but I will travel a couple hours away eventually to try it at a sushi place. Have you tried unagi? Is it as tasty as RUclips makes it seem?
@@jadelynn1703 if you use a pan with sides about 3 inches high (like a cast iron skillet) and a bit of oil (like 3/4 of an inch) it’s less scary and uses less oil too! If you’re good with wooden chopsticks, they’re actually the best for deep frying because they don’t rip the batter off like tongs can and you can check the temperature of the oil with them (press one end of the chopstick onto the bottom of the pan, the temp is good when little tiny bubbles come out). When you put the meat or veg into the pan, lay it down away from you, towards the wall or whatever, that way any splatter goes away from you. Tonkatsu batter is: -season the meat with salt and pepper -thin layer of flour -dunk in mixed egg (no water or milk needed, leftover egg can be microwaved for the dog lol) -plop into panko and press to make sure it’s well coated. I get thin cut boneless pork chops and pound the sh*t out of them so they’re nice and soft, also cook very fast, like 3-4 mins per side. If the outer is pretty dry without water you shouldn’t get much splatter at all! Lol, YES the eel is SO good 🥴. Definitely worth making a trip for!!
Omg that eel is 🔥 Can one share that or it’s for one person!? Thanks for another great video! Been listening to you low fi music to sleep! Works wonders.
