This algae mixes with the nitrates provided by water run off from excessive usage and lack of regulation on local factory farms. No wonder this video is six months old with fewer than 1k views.

The lake is man made Cheyenne River cuts threw state picking up pesticide creating blue algae which is toxic the lake is also owned and maintained by national guard so getting anything done is impossible
