    I must say that the impact of spiny urchins upon kelp forests must take front row, for the 120+ year history of extirpation of sea otters in the Salish Sea.

    Great video...I'm in the Salish Sea all the time and I can attest to the bounty of marine life.

    It would be interesting to have a scientific study on the effects that volcanic activity, stream, earthquakes, tsunamis and lava have on kelp forests.
