I have 2 facts 1. You can't sell the yiga set to the yiga members in the hideout 2. In gerudo town if you strip naked or put on the yiga mask you'll get arrested but above the gerudo secret club there is a hylain man who snuck in if you strip naked near there or put on the yiga mask you won't get arrested (This is a repost because idk if my comment was sent because I keep having a RUclips glitch where my comment keeps getting deleted, this is also an alt and Idk if it's actually deleted can someone else see my previous comment?)
I’m pretty sure if you use a hydrant to water the flowers near Flowerblight she will compliment you for caring about the flowers if it is dry out but if it’s raining she will yell at you for overwatering them.
Not useless fact but still Dragons will lose their glow after you obtain one of their parts. If you stay on any of the dragons for long enough afterwards (around 12 in-game hours?) they will glow again, letting you farm dragon parts, albeit very slowly.
So you know how the main menu is a loop of the wall carvings you see at the very beginning of the the game under Hyrule Castle? Well once you go back down there in the depths and break the rocks that blocked the rest of the carvings, the loop on the main menu changes and will now include the new carvings. Now I’d saying that’s really cool but also useless information.
@@TheZeldaEnthusiast this may sound lame but I saw it in another video like this but I can’t seem to find it again and can’t remember the channel name. For all I know it might not even be true. I’m sorry that I can’t help
The “gunshow” idle animation made sense to be in BotW but not as much in TotK because he would be stretching his muscles after being asleep for 100 years, but it has been about 6-10 years since BotW so he wouldn’t need to stretch.
It takes about 2 hours to clean up the entirety of zora's domain (that's doesn't get messy again) using only a fire hydrant. There are treasures left behind in the sludge to reward the people that would actually do that. If you use ultra hand on a object, you can go up slants / mountains that you normally would have to climb (until you get stopped). I learned these thing during my time cleaning up the place.
I shit you not I cleared the entire path to zora’s domain with a fire hydrant and I’m willing to bet you’re right on the time frame. Idk what made me do it, it was my first playthrough and I was super immersed I guess lol I remembered how beautiful the path was originally and I got crackin at clearing it up
1 useless change. In Botw if you were crouching while buying stuff, you would automaticly stand up, while in TOTK you will stay crouching. Another more known fact, if you use the Yiga armor, you will get fun dialog from Yiga traps, and some Npc's like Paya. Purah will comment if you get the new champion tunic, well worn head band and master sword.
you also get instantly arrested if you go into gerudo town while wearing the yiga armor. I found this out while doing lessons in love class thing, where you need to hide your face/eyes for the woman to be able to talk to you, so I put on the yiga mask….. and was immediately thrown in jail 😂
I mean, it would make sense that Link's idle animation of him flexing while shirtless would be removed, the animation in BOTW shows him flexing both the left and the right arm, however in TOTK, his right arm is technically prosthetic, meaning there most likely isn't any muscle in there
Not after you leave and return. Nintendo isn't _that_ detail oriented, and they can only devote so much system resources on underpowered babby console.
@@thewardenofoz3324oh obviously the console is underpowered but don't just say "Nintendo isn't that detail oriented" out of your butt. Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild are one of the most detail oriented games ever.
@@thewardenofoz3324 ok. The BoTW useless things and information series definitely didn't last for 6 years. No details in the game that could last 6 years obviously.
You don't necessarily need the warp point in the great sky island to get back to the recall shrine. I'm currently playing a no fast travel challenge run and you can get back up there using floating platforms
lol that's pretty interesting, still in the text when rauru opens the recall shrine, he specifically tells link to warp, which i suppose was nintendo's way of teaching players unfamiliar with botw how to warp, which would have made them look silly if you couldn't then warp back to the room of awakening because you somehow cheesed the gsi that bad. it might be an excellent bit for the series if i can play around and find more ways to get back up there with no warping and maybe also with no glitches so it's "as nintended"
if you sprint and jump while going through the doorway of a shrine, the camera will go a bit further in than if you just walked. and if you backflip through it the camera (and link) has to spin around really fast to show the animation
How about this one: 🤔 The 4 types of emitters (Beam, flame, frost, lightning) are all references to floor tile designs from the original Legend of Zelda
@@TheZeldaEnthusiastas far as I know, the flame, frost, and shock emitters are references to the 3 dragons of their respective type, such as Farosh's large horn for the shock emitter.
For lil animations, if Link has no weapon or bow equipped, the faces he makes with ZR or R press are funny, they might be different if link is near an enemy? similar to botw animation but i swear the facial expressions for this are exaggerated in TOTK
3:16 I am very doubtful that each character correlates with a Japanese one. As someone who does know Japanese, albeit not fluently (however I do have a good understanding of the writing systems which is what’s important here) there are nowhere near enough Zonai characters to match hiragana or katakana, let alone kanji (which aren’t strictly Japanese characters anyways) They resemble text on a jade Chinese lithophone I saw at an art museum. If you look that phrase up you’ll see what I’m taking about.
gameplay spoilers for totk the armor reward for getting all shrines is shown in the inventory as a medallion that hangs around link’s waist when worn. on the medallion is the face of an owl, the face of a dragon, and the face of a boar (the three significant animals in zonai architecture in the typhlo ruins/faron region).
I’d wager with the first fact, that probably has more to do with modern day accessibility more than anything else. Information on the internet spreads like wildfire. So if any publisher invests any amount of effort and resources into even moderate marketing, word will get around.
If your using a glider in the rain, I swear to Hylia the rain makes you descend faster. Now I could be wrong but I have noticed a faster descent when it's raining. I guess I should really test it.. Edit: I really wish we got some of those old BOTW concepts for Link's arm in TOTK. The hookshot/beetle thing looks super cool n would be so much fun. The bomb launcher is also suuuper dope as well as the bow-arm.
You don't need to warp to recall in the tutorial. I watched GrandPooBear get up there day one, he's played the entire game with no fast travel. It was mind-numbingly slow, but he did it, with one of those floating platforms, fans, and patience
No clue if you mentioned this, but the symbol resembles an urobosos, which is a snake devouring itself from its tail. Its clearly a reference to the curse of Demise
this is because he obviously isn't as skilled of a archer as revali or link, the two greatest archers of all time in the botw universe. just because those two can shoot 3 arrows from it, doesn't mean tulin can.
1:01 The owl face is a vague reference, it's better not to imply it as a fact since newcomers may give it more credit than they should. Also the way you mention the light symbol is a bit confusing: The fictional symbols on secret stones are inspired by the Japanese characters ("kanji") that describe the power they enhance in each holder, which is wind, fire, water, lightning, spirit, time, darkness, or in Rauru's case, light.
Honestly, the fact that TotK released on only the Switch isn't that insane if you compare it only with BotW since I doubt that many people bought the Wii U version (I mean, I did but...)

Nah, I saw him down a whole bottle of glue yesterday.
