Keep doing what you’re doing guys! You’ve quickly become my favorite hunting channel. I’m a first generation hunter, so everything I learn is from guys like you. It’s so nice to get REAL knowledge on REAL world whitetail hunting. Thanks so much!
This was amazing, y’all broke down exactly what you were saying and didn’t just say something and then move onto the next thing. Definitely looking forward to more!!
Great piece. You oriented the viewer so was easy to connect the dots about where you chose to set up. I get not every piece has a sweet ditch for access but it took you consecutive years to find the easy access. Many thanks
Keep up good work. I’m headed out to scout tomorrow morn. Got a big 10pt here in southwest Louisiana in some public marsh I had a crack at last yr. didn’t get him. Saw him 3 times while hunting. Been trying to figure him out. Going check the cameras and see what I got and do a sit for a few hours to see if I can see him. Good luck to y’all and to you especially Aaron. You going to smoke one this yr I can feel it man.
Awesome Video! I think those plants you were wondering about are Sassafras. That's what it looked like when you help the leaf (that looked like a T-Rex track). Should make a scouting video for Mature Forests. I Also hunt 80% Public Lands (by choice) and don't have the River Bottoms and fields such as you.. would be nice to see scouting tips of Big Mature Forests and Hilly terrain with no fields. Thanks.
WNYHuntNFish Ray yeah it did look like young sasafras now that you mention it! I have been seeing golden seal a lot and I was looking for it in these videos a fee time I thought I seen some.
The plant you are asking about is a type of ragweed. I couldn’t quite tell from the video if it was common ragweed or giant ragweed but got a good enough look to know it is one of the two.
How do y'all use cameras. Like the GoPro set up and such. And what doe you use for the night vision camera. I do a lot of hog hunting here in SC and I want to up my game on the videoing aspect.
We use the GoPro rig to do the vlog, or "selfie style" interviews. We try to make it as interactive as possible. We also use them for 2nd angle cameras while hunting. We get the night vision footage from our primary camera, a Sony Z150. Thanks for watching!
First of all thank you for these great videos fellas keep up the outstanding work. About the plants them deer were browsing the short broad prong leaved plant looked a lot like golden seal!!! I have been seeing it all ovrr the place!!!!
I don't think it was on purpose that morning. They had a long drive to get there, long walk in, trying to find a tree that would work, etc. They probably would've had to wake up at 2:00 am to get in the tree before shooting light!
Thanks for scouting that for me. I will leave a few orange flagging tapes on the first 100 yards or so of the ditch to let you guys know that I am back there... Thanks Again.
Mike Mehevic jr boots on the ground mike. It’s not the destination but the journey that fills the memory bank. If the goal is meat go to the grocery store--with your drone.

Could also be Giant Ragweed. I see it all the time here in Texas
Oh ok. Well that's what I'm familiar with in Western New York. (sassafras)
I second this suggestion!
We will do it!
WNYHuntNFish Ray yeah it did look like young sasafras now that you mention it! I have been seeing golden seal a lot and I was looking for it in these videos a fee time I thought I seen some.
You guys are my favorite! Fixing to go hang a cam on public in a nasty place. Will be walking the creek in best I can.
The plant you are asking about is a type of ragweed. I couldn’t quite tell from the video if it was common ragweed or giant ragweed but got a good enough look to know it is one of the two.
Keith 2210 yes I agree I believe it’s giant ragweed
Yes it is great ragweed, if it has enough sun and good soil it will grow to around 15 foot tall
not sure what that plant is, but I've seen it here in Michigan....& deer love it. great video on scouting 👍👍
Great video guys! Looking forward to more scouting videos and breaking them down for everyone.
Hurry up November
Great info, thanks! I been thru a few pairs of hip waders with most basically sucking. Yours looked pretty functional, what brand and model?
Great video as always guys. Greg does an awesome job with the filming.
Very informative great video 👍🏻👍🏻keep the scouting videos coming for sure
Would you fellas care to make an episode covering creek bottoms with hardwood draws?
GTbowhunter90 Sure that’s a good idea!
Gets me pumped. Great stuff.

Sir I’m currently hunting public but trying to figure out where to start scouting could you make some suggestion
So many people hunt corn feeders and food plots now that the concept of scouting is lost on many people. And that is unbelievably sad to me.
Burke Jones very true. I think i spend more time scouting then I do hunting. The test is easy to pass if you do you're homework is my philosophy
Loaded with information great work! Thanks for sharing
Great job onvthe video. Thanks for the detailed information
What kind of hip wadders are those? Also, when are you guys coming to Michigan!?
I can’t wait for opening day of 🦌 season
Great video again guys. I really enjoyed it.
Used this exact rut tactic to kill my 2018 buck. 135" buck on November 3 on Illinois public land all thanks to THP.
Great info! I got a hat and shirt from Doug. They look awesome! Congrats on the success!
Good deal Steve! Thank you for your support!
Great info guys. Was that the hunt you guys went in late on purpose? To give the does time to get back to bed?
I don't think it was on purpose that morning. They had a long drive to get there, long walk in, trying to find a tree that would work, etc. They probably would've had to wake up at 2:00 am to get in the tree before shooting light!
Yeah man season will be here before we know it
Bud man I can’t wait
Cant wait!!! Running mineral sites is some of my favorite things to do this time of year

We primarily use Muddy treestands and climbing sticks. We have used some Lone Wolf gear in the past too. Thanks for watching!
Ok thanks
That plant is sassafras
Definitely not sass. That's giant ragweed.
Your right it is giant ragweed
Thanks for scouting that for me. I will leave a few orange flagging tapes on the first 100 yards or so of the ditch to let you guys know that I am back there... Thanks Again.
Jurist sadly unfunny.
Do you guys ever use drones to help you scout?
