- This is just 2 minutes of Anna being confused because this was how I pictured it the first time listening to it.
I had a lot of fun making this and listening to that song on loop for a month, but i'm also going to try some other stuff while i'm at it.

Considering that both Hans and Cleaves both came from Germany, it would make sense that it would be for her. The whole reason Henry divorces her was the equivalent of cat fishing.

I'm from Germany and it took me a while to realize that this is supposed to be a german accent. For me it sounded like a mix of a russian and a french accent.

I love how this song also talks about historical things that people actually did/wore. (EDIT: I did not mean for the replies to become a historical debate lol)
While the song is a bop, it's actually MAJORLY historically inaccurate. Especially in regards to the corsets. Back then, working women used corsets as back-support and as a means to hold up their breasts. Only the nobility used corsets to accentuate curves. From what I believe, there was a 1:1.5 ratio between waist and chest and a 1:2 ratio between waist and hips. But no one ever squeezed their guts to get to that ratio. It was very minimally done, if at all. Instead, if women wanted to get that ratio between hips, chest, and waist, they would simply put padding on their hips and chest.
@@thomasho9319 I completely agree. But the correct term is actually stays! Corsets weren't actually invented until the victorian age. During the Tudor period it was actually attractive to be more on the plump side, as it meant you were in a fortunate enough position to afford food on a regular basis. So nobility actually didn't squeeze in their waist either

The word you're looking for in fashion history is staves - boning in the dress to support the 40+ pounds of fabric that noble women were expected to wear on a daily basis. It's part of why hoop skirts were such a popular thing, they helped relieve the weight of a dozen or so layers of cloth without losing the large shape of the skirts.

Few things:
A) Love the animatic, your style is absolutely amazing. Love the idea of Cleves being so confused by the whole thing and just wanting her dang portrait done. It's a wonderful take on the song.
B) I have no clue what "Thundercats" is, and also haven't watched any of your other content (at this point), so maybe I just don't have the context, but just do what you want. You don't have to only do what the fans want, and they need to understand that just yelling at you to do something else instead of appreciating what you gave is honestly kinda rude and disrespectful.
C) I love how every animatic maker as came to the same decision that Bolyen is the one who does the air horns. It's in every single one and I *love it.*

Tight corsets, makeup with lead poisoning, painful shoes, and highlights done with a hair-rinse with disgusting ingredients... huh, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Makeovers aren't as fatal today as they were for Anne of Cleves, but they are still as extreme and questionable at times.
Corsets weren't in a Tudor era, and a well made corset is not painful or hurtful, as it is meant to be a bra.
...Women in heels wasn't really a thing, they were originally a male item and well...
