At that time Henry was no longer the catch he thought himself to be and many refused to marry off their daughters because of his horrible track record with wives. Those whining about whiatewashing don't know that the make-up, this with lead poison, is called Venetian ceruse that was supposed to make your skin literally white. Eizabeth I used it to hide her smallpox scars, but it was extremely popular and it killed. They should educate themselves first I guess. And buy some glasses cause it's freakin obvious that it's makeup in the video. But people are oversensitive nowadays so... :D

Those whining about whiatewashing don't know that the make-up, this with lead poison, is called Venetian ceruse that was supposed to make your skin literally white. Eizabeth I used it to hide her smallpox scars, but it was extremely popular and it killed. They should educate themselves first I guess. And buy some glasses cause it's freakin obvious that it's makeup in the video. But people are oversensitive nowadays so... :D
