Still can't believe my own luck. What is your best find so far?
I don’t swim in mythics, I got 2. Of which my Doombringer mw crit on dr 3 times.
GA frigid GA dex% amu with alchemical +2 which bricked while tempering. Tempering 2 tempers with a 1 in 4 chance is still a joke even with additional rolls due to GAs.
With this season it is double GA on the Winterglass.
One is great Conjuration Mastery but the second one is meh Non-Physical Damage but with the highest roll possible on Conjuration Cooldowns.
Still no luck to farm Shako or Tyrael's Might after so many times I killed Duriel and Zir xD Oh well...
20% Tibault's Will with GA damage reduction. Really proud I got that myself.
Probably my Word of Hakkan with a GA on the cooldown.
Nothing amazing but it's helped a lot.
After you get a GA the true test is the tempering 😂

Facts. Wanna talk about dumb ARPG game design. You can’t even let yourself get excited over good drops because it’ll probably brick during tempering. These people don’t even play games with these kids of decisions

I think the most fun thing about this is he hit the temper on the 6th reroll. This is only possible as of the beginning of this season due to how much we complained about tempering last season. Good stuff. That would have been a brick if this change hadn’t gone into effect.

@@gregbredenko2290in s4 we had only 5 tempering chances even if it had 3 or 1 ga, it didn't matter. Now every ga gives you 1more tempering chance
@@mehmetabdullah250 that's incorrect. You had 5 chances + 2 initial first free on each category, so 7. Alto the first in each category didnt count on the temper count.

@@mehmetabdullah250 I agree with that, wanted to just point out to stay on facts. If I were to implement a fix it would be simple: When you reach max tempering attempts, the tempering potential of the item degrades but you can temper forever at progressively increasing cost, with the maximum roll of the temper permanently decreased by 20% or so. That way you are assured to get what you want but it won't be as powerful or cheap. Still not bricked and you can play your build, while you search for another good drop to retry, instead of rage quitting.
Incredible pickup. I got a nice 3x GA gloves for my necro last season. it feels so GOOD hitting on items like this!

I got a 925 staff with 3* on the same as you, int, max life and crit damage as one of my first * drops around lvl 70 or so. Got max rolls on crit damage and another lightning spear % on it. Later on started to realize how damn lucky drop that was. Now at 90 when masterworking it, noticed it became 1* as the original stats were from when I was 70. (Back to diablo since season 1 so a lot of new stuff to figure out) hopefully I didn't spend all my luck too early 😂
No need to check the upgraded stat on your gear in the inventory. Just hover the cursor over the central image (your item) in the master reworking window, you'll see the upgraded stat before the animation ends. You can also click to skip the animation. Another tip, but useless: when you're doing an Uber boss, you can tell if you've looted an Uber unique before the drops appear by simply checking the radar.

That is literally the best weapon in the game for Lightning Spear Sorc. Even with max roll on lightning spear chance temper you can't get to 100%, so you need to crit it once. There's so room for improvement.
Minus the max life stat. Damage or vulnerable would’ve been better. I’ve never needed anything close to 44k life. I can beat anything in the game with only 22k life. (And less)

My experience with 'chance to cast second lighting spear' is that it doesnt do anything anymore now that a second lightning spear is automatically built into the skill tree.
I mean, you get two lightning spears every cast now, so what does it do? It certainly doesnt give you three lightning spears.

... and got lucky tempering the good stuff. Nice one! Sometimes, the Blacksmith is the really only big challenge in D4.
I'm playing the same build and had a 4xGA Winterglass drop. Took me about 10k Neathiron but I rolled it to 0.8 seconds conjuration cooldown.
I got so lucky with my only triple affix find, which was my bow with dex, life and crit damage. Got lucky with the tempering also so I don't think I'll ever replace that bow
Instead of hovering over the item to see what you got, you can also hover over the center of the masterworking animation
I got a double lucky drop last season. A 3GA chest with dex, dark shroud and all res, and a neck with +2 malice and exploit. I sold them because I did not want to be so depressed when the tempering failed. 24b gold for the two items.

I got literally this exact staff and rolled overpower and ultimate damage on every single temper. Still mad about it.

I bricked an amulet with crit chance , conjuration mastery and attack speed , 2 ga on crit chance and c mastery , lol , that made me angry as hell.
Yeah, it makes you feel like Blizzard doesn't respect the time you spend farming these items. Now, imagine they introduced a 5 million gold cost for additional temper rolls - you'd farm any amount of gold to get a good roll on such an item and it would feel worthwhile because the player retains control on whether the item is kept or not. System needs to change.

I've done this, because philosophically I'm sympathetic to your aim. I can tell you with no ego, this is my finest sword. If on your journey, you should encounter God, God will be cut.

Everyone talking about being timid about tempering. Not hating or anything but stating a point that seems to elude everyone making these comments. There is never a doubt for streamers that theyll land the item, tempers, and masterworking they want. See, we act timid because we have limited time and materials to do basically infinte rolls. For streamers its not if ill get my item and rolls but when. So, look at how he rolls and his reaction, it speaks volumes to the positon wudi is in. There is no dread mixed in with his excitement as i believe would be common amongst a 2hr a day player. Youd be hit with excitment, quickly followed by dread of possibly bricking an item youll never see again and if you do hit the tempers, not only do you need enough mats to get decent rolls [not perfect] but good enough to move on. And then, you need to make it fit in your build, which probably will require you to find other gear with the correct stats and then be able to temper them. Just saying getting shako was like that last season. Like, "yes! " admiring the piece and then realizing how little time i had left in the season and needed to do so quick makeshift setup, swapping gear out for other non-perfect gear just to make the Shako work. Just wanted to point this out. So, congrats to Wudi. Its like congragulating LeBron on that last Gold. Like he was gonna get it, and if not that wouldve been more shocking. Like congagulating another millionare for making another million. Like yeah, thats what they do. Ah, relativity.

Noob question... how did he get 110% second lightning spear temper?
Masterworking an item makes every affix range increase and at 4/8/12, it crits one of the affixes, that's why the number is blue
(Crit damage got the crit twice which is why it's yellow) 👍
Ideally you'd have all 3 crit on the stat you want but it's very RNG heavy.

Why max life is a good on a weapon? Should it be some kind of damage related instead? i mean if you get killed it's one shot anyway?
GA is literally a full RNG. You gotta swallow what you get.
@@cinecastmedia nah, this is the godroll for lightning spear. Max life has a lot more value than a little bit of additive damage.
@@payne124 with GA damage percent you can actually master work it to 90% damage. Isn't it more value than the 2k HP?
@@cinecastmedia Late game, when you have 2000%+ additive damage or so, another 90% isn't gonna do much. Especially with all the added multiplicative damage through Paragon, Aspects, etc. On almost every build you want main stat, some %dmg that scales depending on your build (in case of lightning spear it's crit DMG because of Splintering Energy Aspect, for a ranged Rogue it would be %crit DMG aswell, because of the precision passive), and max life. With enough max life and damage reduction sources (armor cap, max resists, paragon, etc) you can survive most one shots in the game.
I got a triple greater affix gohrs that tempered plus 15 to whirlwind
Sooooo how much gold did you get from selling to vendor? Gohrs is trash ranks are borderline useless the only fun part is the fire effect which does nothing past level 60
