Nice rig ! That thing probably does really well for chasing storms. This is giving me more motivation to build a chase vehicle always loved storms since I was a kid I'd love to do it.
Is it even possible to become a storm chaser in pennsylvania? I feel like in Texas or Oklahoma there are many storm chasers but as someone in PA I feel like its not possible to get into storm chasing without leaving the state.
I mean be careful with that 5.4. As a mechanic I’ve had to many issues and have been left on the side of the road due to water in the intake getting into the engine during heavy storms. The 7.3 has a better intake system.
Thanks for your comment, I have had this truck for 5 years now. I have never had a single problem with it while chasing. But I also have it checked regularly by a mechanic and serviced regularly. So maybe that's why I have never had a problem.
Hello, I sold this truck back in April, but basically since the center console was very heavy all we had to do was place it on top of the rails that the stock center console and flip up seat came on. It never moved.

Thank you!
No flashing lights or storm spotted stickers? Or emergency weather response decals?

How did you mount the console?

With that being said you do have to remove the center console flip up seat before you can actually install this one in the truck
@@ThorntonOutdoors i was thinking yours had the plastic molded console like mine does.
It’s red so the tornado doesn’t hit you
Accurate statement!
That console 😎
