Hi Carmen, I'm so glad you liked it! I love the 'cheesecake' flavor, too :) Can I ask a small favor? Can you copy and paste your review to this recipe on my website? I appreciate it! :) Here's a quick link... gentletummy.com/best-strawberry-cheesecake-cottage-cheese-ice-cream-recipe/
Thank you so much!!! I followed your recipe but made it with Lactaid cottage cheese I got at Walmart. I added Frozen Cherries blended more then added dairy free and no sugar chocolate chips I got at Costco blended more. Put in shallow glass dish like you did. Then crumbled Chocolate Cookies by Simple Mills I also got from Costco, Simple Mills also makes them in Cinnamon “Sweet Thins” I like those better but couldn’t find them last time. WOW This Cottage Cheese Ice Cream is So Delicious!!!❤️ I have also been enjoying a few more of your recipes, very healthy! ❤️

What an excellent and engaging host and the filming and graphics are top notch. Food Network should pick this up!! I see the benefits of ice cream you don't need an ice cream maker for, but one suggestion I have is you might want to look into getting a Ninja Creami, it is amazing and has a setting for Light ice cream like this, as well as a mix-in setting. You do have to freeze the pints the night before, but it is really easy to make really healthy ice cream and I use mine all the time.
I made this dish and its delicious. ❤ I calculated the entire dish at 1099.5 calories 39.5g fat 150g carbs 9g fiber 41g protein If you remove the crust you save 302.5 calories, 9.25 fat, 42.25 carbs, and 3 fiber. It is delicious but not sure how you came up with 18 grams of sugar. My assumption is you divided these numbers by 1/2 cup serving.❤❤
Thank you, Angie, and that is a great question. Here is an article I found online... integrisok.com/resources/on-your-health/2022/june/is-maple-syrup-better-than-sugar#:~:text=And%20while%20maple%20syrup%20may,processed%20than%20other%20added%20sugars.
Honey and make syrup are natural but they both have high glycemic index. If you want a natural sweetener that is natural, use Agave Nectar. It has a glycemic index that is half of the others.
I made this recipe. Wondering if 1/4 teaspoon salt was accurate. I measured correctly. The dish tasted salty. I did not include the cookie bits, which would have added a bit more sweetness. I have made a couple of your other recipes and liked them. But, not this one. Thank you for all you share!
Hi Janie, thank you so much for your feedback! Yes, 1/4 teaspoon is accurate based on my experience making it and using Daisy brand cottage cheese. Sounds like a pinch of salt or no added salt at all would work best for you :)
Definitely think "cheesecake" as you're eating this. Recipe best suited with the strawberry. Delicious.

Please create a short of just the Graham cracker bites so it’s easy to find. Thank you very much😊
Looks good! I appreciate that the graham crackers are gluten free as well
Thank you Alaina! The gluten-free graham cracker dough is super easy to make, and they really elevate the ice cream :)

Yummy and nutritious recipe.
It is sooo delicious!! I'm hooked :)
Amazing
Hi Star, thank you! This ice cream is divine!! Let me know if you have a chance to make it :)
This looks amazing. How long does the cottage cheese ice cream last in the freezer?
Hi Debbie, thank you! I have had some of this ice cream in my freezer in a sealed container for about three months and it still tastes delicious :-)
@@gentletummy thank you.
Looks amazing but one question. I know honey and maple are natural but don"t they spike your Insulin like white sugar?

Fructose is fructose regardless of where it comes from. Might as well use sugar.

Oats!!??? No thank you.....🤮🤮🤮
I know some people are not fans of oats :) You can use almond flour instead.
@@gentletummy almond flour is super inflammatory...oats spikes your insulin in blood to heaven!!!
