I know people talk about Randy Moss but Sterling was better than all of them. Even in his first 7 season his number was better than Rice. Remind me of Barry sanders and how E. Smith pass him in yards due to longevity.
Unfortunate injury, definitely a Hall of famer. It should not to be if your season was cut short , you should be penalized. Seven years is long enough to see a players work.
During his short career his numbers were mirroring or just behind only the legendary Jerry Rice, that just goes to show you the caliber of receiver Sterling Sharpe was! He deserves to go into the HOF
The Packers surprisingly were lighting up everybody, especially my home team Bears. Robert Brooks, Antonio Freeman, Don Beebe, and Mark Chmura. Sterling was different different, they couldn’t cover him.
It is a blessing from God to see 2 brothers so close they have been through the highs and lows poor and rich and they have never let any of that come between them.
The love for a brother is unmatched. My father passed away recently due to hypertension. For ten years, his blood pressure was almost uncontrollable. Because for ten years he dealt with his brother's untimely passing. He never got over it, and in the end I have no doubt that it was the grief of losing his brother that played the biggest role in his health issues. I miss and love you so much Dad.
@drealdomb.6606 most definitely, but his career ended after only 7 seasons, and dude was already 5-time all pro and set receiving records in consecutive seasons. He would've definitely been a G.O.A.T
Both of these dudes were absolute beasts players the NFL has ever seen. I respect his love for his brother and the love of the game. Those days are so far behind. The Sharpe family gave us some great moments in the NFL.
A whole lotta love and respect between these two brothers. Shannon idolized his big brother when they came up. He wanted to be just like Sterling. That's why it hurt him so bad that Sterling got injured so badly.
Sterling was a beast in the NFL prior to injury. Though to me his greatest achievements where off the field with how respected and admired he is by his peers and current players.
Their Granny did such a good job raising these 2 absolutely class guys. Love hearing Shannon talk about his Grandma, reminds me of the love between me and my gran. Peace and love from England ✌
Shannon has so much love and respect for his brother, I love that. It's what all brothers, siblings should strive for especially if you went thru the struggle and had nothing but each other
I love the Sharpe Brothers!! Great Guys.. Sterling was my Dude!! He use to break our hearts out in Detroit! All the time!!! No one could tackle him...!
Sterling Sharpe is a great what if story; looking at his numbers he was clearly one of the league’s top receivers and consider this also: he retired as a Packer in 1994, one year before Brett Favre began his run of three consecutive MVPs, it’s scary to think about how much better they could’ve been!
The GOAT blocking reciever and it isnt close. Sterling was the toughest receiver to ever play. Shoit in the final 4 games after his injury he had 3 tds against the bucs and 4 tds in the playoffs WITH an injured neck! That's tough bro
This was great!!! I didn’t want it to end. I really wish the Sharpe brothers would do more of this in the future. Also Sterling Sharpe for the Hall of Fame!!!!!!!!!!!
I watched Sterling when he played at South Carolina. I used to hoop with him in the gym. He didn't start until his junior season. He was probably the best offensive athlete to play at the school even moreso than former Heisman great George Rogers
Unc if you see this.... truly appreciate you man. Too young to have seen your football career but hella respect your takes and opinions on undisputed. Keep up the amazing work big homie.
3 Tubs 122 yards.. and y’all was supposed to play eachother in the Bowl.. man I love you two. Shannon Keep shinning for the family! The best brother combo of ALL TIME.
My Dad made me sit down and watch how good Sterling Sharpe was... He was the best wide receiver 5 pro bowls in a row stats thru the roof... He was on track to be the greatest receiver ever
I even wore #84 I was a hard hitting tight end flanker and tailback... Yeah #84 tailback running back broke 14 tackles in one play ran over the whole team and 2 players 2wice on video
Absolutely accurate point. 1994, The end of the Sterling Sharpe era, the ascension of Shannon Sharpe’s dominance all in the same offensive philosophy. The two teams meeting in Super Bowl XXXII, 1998. Imagine if Sterling was playing that game opposite Shay Shay. That game was already epic. Woooo! This is football, ladies & gentlemen!
I was a wideout in high school and wore #84 my sophomore year because Sterling Sharpe was an absolute beast! And now 30+ years later I've had 4 neck surgeries to fix what had happened to me way back then.. Sterling was truly my idol on the gridiron!
If you watched Sterling Sharpe play back in the day then you know he was elite his 1rst three seasons with trash QBs. He didn't get Bret Farve til 1992, and only had him til 94' when he was injured. Personally I think he'd be #2 behind Jerry Rice if not in the top 3 all time.
It's too bad what happened to him. He was right in the middle of his prime and showed no signs of slowing down whatsoever. Very possible GB would've won another superbowl too had Sterling not sustained that injury. Dude was a straight beast.
I missed watching Sterling Sharpe play because he could do it all and run every route perfectly while having both speed and power - always reliable when it mattered most and always persevered regardless of whether the team won or lost - Sterling Sharpe always did his job.
I was kid and it hurt me, Brett and Sterling gave us a glimpse of what could have been. The Super Bowl against the Broncos would've been different. Sterling deserves the hall of fame, the NFL needs to make it right 🙏🏾💯
What did you think about Sterling Sharpe's retirement?
I know people talk about Randy Moss but Sterling was better than all of them. Even in his first 7 season his number was better than Rice. Remind me of Barry sanders and how E. Smith pass him in yards due to longevity.

Gayle Sayers 7 years Hall of Famer.

You can still see the pain in Shannon’s eyes while bringing this up. That bond they have is special.
Man you can see it all in his face. He still holding back tears to this day.
Facts, if Sterling hadn’t taken over I think we would’ve heard the cracking in his voice.
The love and respect they have for each other is what all brothers should strive for
It's like when something tragic happens awhile ago and you dig up those old emotions. They pour out
Not gonna lie tho that just makes me more of a fan. That's unc right there fr
You can tell Sterling is the older brother by the way he carries himself. And you can tell how much Shannon looks up to him.
Little big brother i think Sterling is like 5'11 six foot nd sharpe is 6'2
Shannon definitely does. He even gave his first Super Bowl ring to sterling because he couldn’t play anymore.
Yes. Very true
Its beautiful to see this
True football fans truly know how dope Sterling was.
Scott Davidson especially as a packers fan😔😭
@Scott Davidson thanks

I agree. Please put STELIN SHARP IN THE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME. GIVE MR.STERLIN SHARP IS FLOWERS WHILE HE STILL HERE. SHANNON LOVE YOU.
It is a blessing from God to see 2 brothers so close they have been through the highs and lows poor and rich and they have never let any of that come between them.
I could just sit back and listen to Shannon and Sterling talk about their childhood memories growing up, college and professional careers

Sterling I’m MN .. Never thought you was our rival . Was shocked and disappointed of your injury I truly believe you’d probably be the Goat of WRs
"Even though "
Shannon is the little brother every older brother wish they had he always speak of him highly and respectful of him
Still He needs to be in the Hall of Fame.Period.Point.Blank. One of my Top 10 all time favorite WR's
Yo I can't believe he's not in there. Dude was on Jerry Rice's level real talk.

He'll get there....I don't know how, but somehow he'll get there...

I remember Sterling very well. An incredibly receiver. Should be in the HOF without a doubt.
Sterling sharpe always one of my favorite receivers ever… he was elite as Jerry and probably on the way to being better.

Surely they would have won more than 1 SB together. Packers would be the Franchise with the most SBs if Sterling never got injured like that.
Shannon loves his brother so much, it is a marvel to watch through the years.
These two are what brothers are supposed to be like. I love my brother and would cry also if anything happen to him that would change his life
A brothers love is one of thee strongest bond
What a great brother Shannon is.

Why Tony Gonzalez dislike this from 5 accounts? Shay Shay the 👑 and Sterling a real mans man, jus like his brother. HOFers both imo. Love these guys
Unc that ain't nothing to be ashamed of that you cried for your brother's health, that's called being human 💗
It's amazing how much Shannon loves his big brother. The Sharpe brothers and the Wayans brothers are how families are supposed to be.
I saw Sterling At IHOP in Columbia SC yesterday. Awesome Player & Guy...
I always admired their relationship. His selflessness is why Shannon was so great.
