Chad is a true friend. He is comfortable with letting Shannon know what he sees on the outside... and with letting him know he wants happiness for him. Shannon does need to loosen up a little and let the lighter side of life in some. I love this friendship and this podcast.

They never ask this of men. It's always expected for women to dress the way men like, cook the food they like, have sex the way they like, without any consideration for how we feel. Someone asks them to compliment their woman, give her flowers every so often, talk to her and respect her feelings or show her some empathy and its too much for them.

I can relate...I had a great aunt whose son was a famous football player back in the day (played for the Green Bay Packers) and she still stayed in her house in Texarkana, Arkansas and never changed always doing things for others and my family loved fishing also!!! Good to hear these types of stories! I love the chemistry between the two of you!

I love this honestly. As a man I feel like we are taught to prioritize things exactly the way that Shannon has. The work comes first. You need to be able to provide for yourself and your family and love will come with it. But when it really comes down to it we need love and encouragement from a good hearted, well-meaning and supportive partner just as bad as women do too. Love the podcost, they represent two different ways of thinking. To be successful at life you have to choose to either be shay (single, go your own way) or Ocho (married, conform) ...and just commit.
