This stuff turns heads. Cinnamon does peek out but it’s not like a cinnamon stick slapped you in the face. The blending just leaves you guessing what is in this fragrance as none of the notes stand out above the other. I think this would be a great scent to wear in high heat OUTSIDE as it will just permeate from your skin and waft thru the outside air. Still great for indoor application as long as you keep down the sprays. I think it’s phenomenal.
Great review! I grew up listening to Sabbath in the 70's and had all of their records as well as Tony's solo albums from the 80's so I was intrigued. I finally got my nose on this and instantly had to get a bottle. Well worth the money! I could pick up wafts well into the next morning before I hopped in the shower.

This one came off to me like a really good designer scent. Something Armani or Issey Miyake might make. And I don't mean that as a knock. It's just a very approachable sweet fragrance, which is unique for Xerjoff.
This is a really fantastic composition! While it has some gourmand facets, it doesn't come off as gourmand and I don't see any similarities to the other fragrances mentioned. It is complex and very well put together.
I always like your eloquent reviews. These fragrances are out of range for me at the moment. I’ve acquired over 100 fragrances over the last 8 months. My wife has 79, Astrid has 28, Kristoff and Andrew about 33 and myself about 100. A little bit of everything including cheapies and fragrances from Creed, YSL, Acqua di Gio, Prada, Dior and a lot of middle eastern. I love cinnamon, vanilla, rum and tonka. One of my favorite boozy fragrances is Bentley intense.
So excited you reviewed this one! I really wanted to know your thoughts specifically and I didn't want to be inclined to blind but just because of the name sake. As always, you show up as a professional and master the accents and affectations displayed here by pronouncing Tony *Iommi* correctly. Nice work Steven 👌

So, I have such an unrefined palette when it pertains to my fragrance wardrobe. I have veered in sweet florals. An example is Delina Exclusif. I lean towards niche because that’s where I started collection! I only have 3 Xerjoffs but got a sample of Starlight!
Hi Steven! Great review as always! I always like a passion fruit note! What interesting combinations! I’m super curious to see Xerjoff’s take on metal. The strong caramel with fruit makes me think of Divine Perversion (Hedonik) by Francesca Bianchi (who is also totally rock n’roll & metal). Voyage Royal's the Conqueror does a pretty decent (albeit sharper, more alcoholic opening, less smooth & rich) version of this. For a 100ml at $50, it's good enough to layer or alternate to extend my precious bottle of Iommi!

Then go try fragrances recommended by the reviewers. That way i have an idea where i stand in position to their taste and mine. So in case like this i can blind buy in the utmost confidence.

The opening on this is heavy heavy rose / oud combo on my skin. Patch starts coming out about 20 mins later and it changes a lot.

Would you call this similar in any way to 'Side Effect'by Initio? I want to grab it but feel like it may be a little redundant potentially.
Xerjoff Toni Iommi is one of my favorites although the drydown is basically A*Men by Mugler.
