Penske been calling and emailing every week.
What were y’all saying about them calling y’all? They have too many trucks sitting because box truck business has slowed and people turned in their trucks?
They trying to sell trucks and send me their inventory also every week. Now they have constant contact and we have a special this week. They never hit me up like that. People are turning in and loosing those trucks plus price is higher so they gone call and email previous customers who they have done business with in the past.

Roddie in that market is fire , the trash everywhere else. But I agree on the apps . I did Frayt in my sprinter 1053 miles $2600 if it dollars it makes sense. Thanks for the van gems. All the guys that do van content just share experiences or just complain no way to level up just get keep

Good to diversified in the type of freight you can haul. Hard to do in those 26,000 lb gvwr trucks as it pertains to how much weight you can haul. That refer 26ft'er with a 3,000 lb lift gate is a nice set up! Tandem axle is even better but more pricey. But i can haul those hazmat & non hazmat liquid totes with that puppy💰💰💰. Of course i have CdL with all endorsements plus TWIC & Tsa certification. Good to be diversified with your freight👍🏿

This is a genuine question - how can a box truck be less lucrative when anything that goes in a cargo van can go in a box truck (partials)? Any avenue you have access to with a cargo van you should technically have with a box truck. Esp if OTR right?

If you working local go ahead and get 25k mile used van...but if you going otr you don't want to be dealing with a coolant leak in the desert of New Mexico or on a bridge somewhere in the snow. I suggest brand new if you got the money and truly know where you gonna make some money.brand new vehicles qualify for auto repair..i just got 10k of work done through gieco.

Yes. I’ve ran a fleet of 15 at my peak. I retired last October after 13 and a half years , divested and sold my assets. I did hold on to two trucks however.
