It’s 45W if you’re using the standard 65W charging cable the legion go came with. If you’re using a 90W charger or more, it’ll charge at 65W+, it says this on the specs. I’m using a 120W charger I bought on Amazon and my battery never goes below 99% while using this dock. Honestly no issues so far, pretty happy with it.
@@abramrick3079 RUclips keeps deleting my Amazon link, but if you search 120watt usb c chargers, you’ll see the GAN 3 one, they have different ones that go up to 400watts
Sort performance issues & enable power charge = eGPU. Sort cable breaking and replacement of dock = Cable extender. I have this paired bi-directional return to LeGo with an eGPU RTX2080S and it is fantastic. However I have purchased the Core X and GPU for cheap second hand.
Lenovo: Let's put a USB4 at the bottom of the device, it'll be great for plugging in multiple things! Also Lenovo: Let's release an OFFICIAL dock for OUR SPECIFIC DEVICE THAT HAS USB4 AT THE BOTTOM.... but let's force the buyer to plug in to the top like any other third party dock that has better features!
Did you ever run into a charging issue? This thing will not charge my legion go, when im connected to the dock. Using 65w charger and nothing. Will let me use a mouse. But no charging. Bios is set to charge, when external devices are plugged in.
@@synthseb its not charging at all. For whatever reason it thinks my dock is trying to send a signal out VS receiving power. Dock works when no ac adapter is plugged in it. Really odd
Hi, how do you connect the speaker in this setting? I have a Sonicbar U200 with a USB for power and audio jack, do I insert the USB to Legion Go dock and Audio jack to monitor? Will this affect the sound being too soft?
Not familiar with that speaker but I'd suggest connecting the speaker to the monitor both with the USB and audio jack. If the audio is not working, check your audio settings and verify it's set to output thru the monitor
I would then try connecting thru the USB port on the dock, but I haven't tried that - if not, try plugging it in with a USB power wall adapter if you have one
The Legion go, for whatever reason, has a portrait native display. So when you output to another screen, it’ll appear in portrait mode. Like the gentleman said you just have to change the video orientation, settings and windows. They probably just has to deal with that being the screen that was the most advantageous pricewise for Lenovo.
@@synthsebin the datasheet specs of their website it supports up to 100w Input. How could they possibly limit it. The extension panel needs 45w for all ports (with a 100w charger should be more than enough)

Could you share a link of that charger? Would appreciate it!

Wouldnt this charge configuration kill your LLG battery sonner than normal ? Does the LLG comes with Smart charge regulation?
@@Dontcareasht not sure tbh, haven’t had any battery issues yet. I plan on buying the legion go 2 when it comes out so I’m not worried.
It makes me sad they only put 45w pass through. Looks like I'll be continuing use of my uGreen dock.
I’m so confused because official specs says 100w in some places but 45 in others. It says both depending on where I look so idk
@@FlamingCurtain 45W (with 65W Power adapter);
65W (with 90W or higher Power adapter)
I think it’s made that way to slow charge the go so it doesn’t kill the battery
Which UGreen dock are you using???
Great quick video. Thanks for respecting my time and good to know about the 45 watts.

Did you got that controller's official grip? I tried to get one but is not available

My thoughts as well I’m still confused by this decision. Why even put the port bottom side if your dock is not even using it. So dumb
i really dont understand this....
There is an opening at the bottom of the Legion Go case that lines up with the bottom USB4 and allows charging while its inside the case.
I’d love to see a tier list big some sort to see what the best option is in your opinion
I wonder will this dock work with the protective shock cover i bought for it
third party docks offer way more for way less, especially wattage
Works for TV too or just on PC??
Dock works for monitors and TVs with an HDMI connection

Does the Legion Go Windows battery icon appear to be charging but it doesn't? Or is it not recognizing the 65w charger altogether?

Can you dual screen monitor off it?
Does it work with Samsung phones and dex?
Is it really only 45w or 100w? I’ve read both
So changing resolution lower wouldn’t help it stop stuttering?
Lowering resolution helps. I like to play in lower resolutions like 1680x1050 or 1440x900. I def prefer performance over quality in most cases

A little help guys. Every time I use a dock it goes to like a vertical view. I’ve never been able to get it right.
In the Windows display settings, there's a setting called "Display orientation". You can try out the Landscape options. Hope this helps!

I'm good with my JSAUX. 😅
why the hell is the connection not on the bottom like the switch, this makes no sense. Legion Go official dock sales...zero. Fail
How stupid is that, 45w tf they doing lol? I’ll stick with my JSAUX thanks
No idea why they went with 45w, not a good decision

It will output 45 W with the 65 W power supply. If you connect 100 W power supply you will get 65 W out of the dock.
Useless without an HDMI 2.1 port...why stick 10 year old tech on a modern device?
