This is the way I interpreted it actually. I think the evil Jane is the real Jane. And whatever drug Adler gave her sort of like enabled him to speak to Jane’s inner child.
An interesting thing about being inside Jane's separation is that you get a view inside of the Advance Technologies and Applications and the facility during that time had Janes house for the training section. Everyone doesn't even bother to look and observe during that part of the game
I think everyone is just thinking to hard about it the drug Adler gave her was called separation and said that it “causes an induced schizophrenia” I think the most logical conclusion is that these two sides have been conflicting the bad side with the negativity inside of her that originated when she saw her parents get murdered and her good human side that wants to remain but seemingly in the end her bad side has much more control
Jane is a subject of the Cradle experiments. It's pretty obvious to see. That same voice that Evil Jane has also talks to Case (the Player) a few times, although it only actually affected the Player during the Zombies mission, and at the end when Case (is implied to have) killed Harrow
Yeah lol its good but doesn’t feel like it belongs in the black ops universe. Like it doesn’t even continue any plot points from the other games, the only tie it has to the black ops universe are the several metions of dragovic and menendez and returning characters
There's actually an explanation for Jane's two-faced nature. It might have something to do with the cradle since she was one of the candidates in the Call of Duty Wiki for Pantheon
I think Jane Harrow's mind was already beyond saving no matter what. Whether she saw the truth or brainwashed, it didn't matter at all. She was so fixated to not let go that PTSD moment that eventually corrupt her mind and memory
It seems like Jane is just that nuanced. She knows these things she’s doing are terrible but feels like there’s no other option for her. She accepted the two sides from the trauma. The drug Adler gave her divided those two sides again.
The whole switch can be explained by the way case works too where he changes upon the mention of cradle and pantheon. Most likely seeing the soldiers and separation wearing off force Jane B back in control. While case doesn’t cause whatever Adler did to him during the cradle experiments as we see he forced to comply with Adler when he says toss him in the turbine.
I think we almost had Jane to turn good again with just few more minutes but since the pantheon stormed in it meant that Jane didnt felt the need to go good cuz she felt that since the pantheon saved her she wont have to work with us.
Broooooo Harrow is fine at the most wanted mission ngl that fit be hitting different But ngl Jane-A is good cause in the MK ultra mission there’s a sticky note that says something about a fundraiser. Jane-B was probably created by Pantheon to control and put her in her place when A got the better of her.
Possible spoiler warning… I replayed the story again and on the last mission when Case is in the crashed helicopter with Jane I noticed when Case hit her with the cradle vial and it broke she changed from being evil to being good and case was the opposite he turned evil as he inhaled the cradle… just something I noticed Jane was evil until she inhaled the cradle
I also have an explanation/theory you can use in your next video One mission from Black Ops 6 was stolen from us And that is the Vorkuta mission and we saw Alex Mason's file which hinted at us seeing potential foreshadowing of seeing Alex Mason in this mission but that didn't happen so I will make a theory So my theory is or what-if that Alex Mason did appear like Case being separated from the main group and Alex Mason arises from the shadows to help us and this will be the last time we will see Mason before he comes back in 2025 where he reunites with an adult David Mason
Jane Harrow said in Vorkuta to Case they both didn't obey their masters which is w3ird. So she was maybe also a test subject to the Cradle same as Case in a way where they both ended up in different path one was a successful test subject to the Pantheon and the other is more of a failure which is Case. Maybe Jane Harrow and Case were best friends in a way where they are both killer but separated after. The only explanation i can give is that someone, a female in the facility helped Case to escape from the Cradle experiment after seeing the dangerous consequences and their goal so she decided to insert him her IA voice or her programming to help him out. Yeah, some kind of Reznov scenario thing. And Jane Harrow was also a cradle test subject and she was the perfect weapon for Pantheon. She gave an impression that she knew very well Case before in the helicopter drowning scene. The Cradle seems to have 2 purposes according to the game : 1. To turn a random soldier into a killer, a tool who can be able to obeys perfectly orders. 2. Launch it as a biochemical weapon and turn people into monsters killing each others with violence which is "wonderful" according to Harrow 😂 In BO 1, it was more of a mix of launching Nova 6 with the help of sleeper agents programmed by the numbers.
Janes seperation shows inside the the Advance Technology and Applications and its different from Case's, Jane's memories shows that the place was set up exactly like her house, could Case be her parents assassin? They say Case was the first and last volunteer, Case's thoughts say they flooded the facility with whats in their viens, Scud mission has the Scienctist talk about 2 siblings get kidnapped for cradle testing, one through injection and other exposed through inhalation
The video on the floppy disk that the team got. Gusev described two subjects. One was the a test subject infected with cradle and the other one was a control subject. This means that in order to use this cradle virus you will first need control subjects (like sleeper agents) in an area with other people in order for this virus to work. In the video the male (control subject) loses his mind and starts killing her. Same happens with case and harrow, case snaps but Jane seems passive. I feel like there's alot more to this virus than just infecting random people and hoping they will kill each other
My theory is she able to manipulate Case to turn into Pantheon operative probably 2nd in Command or somewhere like that and probably intensify the dosage of The Cradle in Case's body (everyone else probably have similar theory)
I just finished the game last night and I think the reason why she reverted back is because A. (Like everyone else is saying) the drug is temporary and splits the conscious and unconscious mind. B. (My own little theory) It did work, but it could be that there is a Pantheon "programing" that she is exposed too. I don't find it coincidental that we visit Vorkuta and the numbers brainwashing wasn't really mentioned. Dragovich was also mentioned in the campaign and when I think about him, I think about his last words to Alex Mason... "Tried?". Because this opened up the theory that Alex killed Kennedy. In the 80's, Adler was exposed to a different numbers sequence so it would make sense that it all goes back to that right? When Case is strangling her, she says "I understand now"....maybe its her realizing that she was exposed to the numbers and found out too late?
I found out that ""Phenosorazine"" is inspired by this name Phenothiazine which is the first-generation typical antipsychotic medications used for the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, control nausea and vomiting, and other psychotic disorders with delusional manifestations. Makes sense since Jane Harrow had a dark side personality in the dream sequence. Alex Mason also had the same treatment because of schrizophrenia like Russel Adler. Both obsessed with their target and acting crazy. The CIA succeeded to remove the numbers program brainwashing from someone as you can see when they showed Stitch tried to turn Adler into sleeper agent mode but he was clean like Alex Mason but Alex Mason had two brainwashing : Reznov to avenge his dead friends and Dragovich as a sleeper agent to kill JFK and turn him into his finest agent. Alex Mason's numbers was different to Adler in a way where Alex Mason numbers appears in front of a target and Adler numbers was about turning him and others into minions.
Jane Harrow has Dissociative Identity Disorder caused from her traumatic childhood. Both entities in her mind are her, but with entirely different and distinct personalities. Jane's negative identity, IE "Dark" Jane, is the dominant personality. "Good" Jane represents a genuinely good person lying underneath her trauma and anger, but is her recessive personality and has little control besides being what is essentially a mask for Dark Jane. Case, additionally, also has DID, though this was implanted into their head via brainwashing and mental trauma/instability caused by the initial Cradle testing. The Voice (In Case's head) is a programmed personality, a dominant one that override's Case's willpower, and has no ties to Harrow directly besides her voice, and assumedly being implanted by her. The Voice is an authoritative mental construct that dictates Case's programming, but also represents Case's anger and fury brought on by the Cradle itself. There is no supernatural aspect to any of this, to clarify. Black Ops 3 also had you explore the mind of your character, as the entire game takes place in Taylor's memories, poorly implanted into your mind as you slowly die on an operating table, your consciousness lingering in the DNI and eventually fading away as Taylor destroys Corvus. I hope this makes sense to the people playing this now that I've laid all of the details out. The human mind is malleable and Black Ops has always been, narratively, about that fact. It can be bent, rewritten, deceived, and broken.
Jane Harrow has something similar to different characters in Black Ops games Character 1 Dragovich She as a badass character was about to spread the cradle and make supersoldiers like Dragovich with Nova-6 +she was chocked to death at the end. Character 2 Menendez She wanted to know who killed her parents in the past would act similarly to what happened to Raul Menendez. Also there is a fact we still don't have clear answer who actually was a mole in CIA. Character 3 Alex or David Mason or Bell She as good person in first mission we see her as someone who was leading entire operation.Bad her was integorated on final mission.Unlike Alex Mason she lost her mind or was barely winning. We might not know how this final mission ended.Did both Case and Harrow survived? Character 4 Reznov Jane Harrow could probably know Case.Maybe she was the voice that was telling Case what to do like Reznov was doing in Alex Mason's mind.
Bro don't think too much 💀 there is no mental issues the thing the serum Adler injected inside jane was called 'seperation' it basically make two different personalities separates the person in two. 1 which is the evil Jane and 2 the part of Jane 'which is willing to talk'... although the sudden change of behaviour in Jane towards her friends is still little off Edit: If before the final mission you talk with adler he'll explain everything about the serum
Hey guys I really appreciate your insight and comments on this video this is exactly what I wanted to have a real discussion and figure this out!
Evil Jane was the real Jane. Adler mentions that the drug splits your personality, we were only seeing through Jane’s split personality
Or maybe, the "Evil" Jane is the REAL Jane while "Good" Jane was created by Adler's drug so Jane can reveal the location of Cradle
very smart actually
