      @@KNGKIP I had the G7 for a few years with 0 complaints but when I upgraded my PC to a 4090 this was a must, then I got a discount and was able to finance the G9 for $45 a month so I had to do it lol

    The only 4 things that I dislike about it. 1. If your watching anything on Disney + or Apple + that was made before 2000 than. Get ready for pixelated movies.
    2nd. Small fonts haze during scrolling.
    3rd. Don’t use traditional care for it. This panel is beautiful. The screen rocks the color is better than my 55” 4k tv. But if you have screen and window cleaner. Don’t use them. Get some ultra fine fiber mesh cloth and some distilled water. Otherwise it will smudge and won’t get that sheen out of the box. Perfectly fine for graphic work but like I said small fonts blur.
    4. Get ready for a total of $3000+ to run this awesome screen. Recommend a minimum of a 40** GeForce video card. If you’re below that than you can run into some problems.

      @@nmsumike Coming from a 1080p 24” monitor, this is the best monitor I have used in terms of colors, curvature and size. I am very satisfied with my purchase. One issue I had is that there is a vertical line that looks like burn in even though I just turned it on. It is not noticeable when gaming or watching media but it appears when you put a gray wallpaper. I might contact Samsung support about it.

    Between this and the LG 49 inch. OLED panel makes a differnce, but it's unfortunate it doesn't have thunderbolt capabilities

    The G9 is great, but it's only 108ppi. I'm afraid it will look horrible compared to my 28 inch 4K monitor (158ppi)... Guess I have to wait for more 7840 x 2160 models to become available.

    Hey there can you advise? I need a monitor for home working (I'm not a gamer). The 45GR95QE's screen height is perfect at 454.66mm but I need something slightly wider than 993.14mm ideally around 1200mm like the Samsung G9. Problem with the G9 is the height is only 365mm which isn't suitable. Is there such a curved monitor out there? The Odyssey Arc 55' is too expensive. Thanks.

    Remember folks, this is a 2k "1440p" oled. Save your money and get the LG ultragear 48-inch 4k "2140P" oled monitor for $800.

      Someone can correct me if Im wrong but I think you can use both to achieve the 240hz 32:9 HDR that we want out of this. Im using the Displayport on mine and have it maxed.

      The monitor has a native resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, which is not supported by most consoles.

    Even with Game Mode "on" my G9 OLED is showing only 120fps. Do you got any Idea what the Issue could be?

      The issue could be due to the monitor’s refresh rate setting. Try checking the monitor’s firmware menu and set the refresh rate to 240Hz. If that doesn’t work, it could be a cable issue. Lastly, ensure your GPU supports the desired resolution.

    i am still having trouble getting my games to go Fullscreen. Lenovo legion pro 7 RTX 4090 WQXGA (2560 x 1600) 240Hz. How did you get yours to game at Fullscreen?

      Adjust the display settings. Here’s how I did it:
      Open the game you want to play. Go to the game’s settings or options menu. Look for a display or video settings submenu. Set the game to run in full-screen mode. Save the changes and restart the game.

      Be careful with work as its OLED it can have burn in. I use mine for majority gaming and video playback. Text clarity is fine for me

    You can move the HUD to where it would be on a 16:9 monitor in modern games. Some older titles will have this problem though.

    Awesome monitor but if you already have a neo 49" I would just stick with that. The jump from the regular G9 to the neo is much bigger than the neo G9 to this G9 oled. If you don't have any of the first two versions, then yes go with the Oled

    not fit for FPS gamers and this resolution is silly. Play on 8K and have 45-50 FPS and also VA panel. 🤣😂 I prefer a quality 3840x2160 0.03ms 175Hz 32'' OLED monitor with a RTX 4090

      I use 6900xt and I get as low as 35fps on total war warhammer 3 with max settings. most other games are above 60. I just started Jedi: fallen order and I get 100-120 on max settings. If you're into diving games I get over 120 on Dirt 2, Forza 7 and others. I don't set the monitor past 120hz because you get colour banding.

    i havnt seen anyone mention if you can game down the center, and have windows like discord or youtube on the side panels. is this possible? the ergonomics of gaming on the right side of your screen defeats the purpose of what this monitor should be made for.

      I plugged in 2 output cable (display port and HDMI) then i put the monitor into picture in picture mode then it will act like your have two separate monitor. Then you can open game fullscreen on one side then another your normal desktop

    These 32:9 ultrawides are a waste of money.
    Yeah they look like a good time, but that's a lot of screen extending beyond your peripheral vision when you consider how close you sit.
    Regular 21:9 ultrawide monitors are the right size for giving you extended viewing angles.

      I own a 21:9 and I agree it is optimal for gaming. For productivity though, 32:9 may be practical.

      I have a G9 32:9 and yes I agree with you but waste of money? I don't think so the 21:9 is goated for gaming the only resaon why I got the 32:9 is beacuse I do both productivity and gaming and lots of multi-tasking & I love it I will never go back to regular montiors the 32:9 is just literally 3 montiors in 1.

    More trouble than they're worth. This is from someone who owns all the G9's since the first one. Biggest problems with those monitors are Dead Pixels, Samsung's poor QC, Panel Adhesive dries up and panel pops from frame after heat and cold repeatedly with use. Samsung warranty is bad.

    What do you think about burn in? I purchased this monitor and it will arrive on Thursday, do you think there are problems for desktop/gaming use or is burn in overrated?

      As long as you turn the monitor off when not in use and use the pixel shifting / pixel cleaning options, you should be fine.

      OLED isn't viable technology for monitors. Your taskbar or game's HUD will burn into the screen within a few months. Nothing prevents this.

      Max settings in games with DLSS, probably. Outside of that, even a 4090 is going to have trouble at that resolution. This is, of course, by drive you mean attempt to get even close to the refresh rate or even half of it. If you're only looking for 60FPS the situation changes and it shouldn't be a problem in most games.

      really depends where you sit in front of your monitor. you can sit further away on a 57, but if you just pull the 49 closer it will look the same.

      If picture quality and motion handling are your priorities, the Samsung Odyssey G9 may be the better choice.

    Considering that I paid $800 for my aw3423dw and it’s only 25% less wide. I would have to hold out. Also my rtx4080 doesn’t have to work as hard. Lol

      If you dont mind first gen QD-oled aweful text clarity with Dell sure. This panel uses gen2 structure and has much better text clarity. Dell is good value but it is older panel technology already.

      @@porschecarreras992cabriole8 Different aspect ratio. This Samsung is 2x 27 inch monitors together and the aw3423dw is 1.5x 27 inch monitors together.
