Random Japanese here. It's not just him recording the dead body, all of his other rude/inappropriate actions following up to the dead body is what made a lot of us very angry. Even without the dead body incident, he still would have gotten in trouble.
I guess most people never believed that he had really changed. He was just "toning things down" for a bit so people will hopefully forget, and as soon as he felt he was clear, he just went back to his usual sh*t.
What else would he have gotten in trouble for? I never watched him and dont know much about Ur culture

Let's see, it' been a while but what I remember is: he left raw fish in the back of a taxi, he broke several items in a store, he went to the fish market and went to places he was not allowed to enter, he hopped on a truck which he did not get the permission to board (I bet he didn't have the permission to film that either), also I didn't watch the entire thing but he acted like an idiot at the Asakusa temple and I do remember his interpreter apologizing to the staffs in the back while he just stood there.
There were a good number of Japanese youtubers who made really angry videos about the whole thing.
He should have apologized to the dead man's family and the man's grave in person. NOBODY in Japan gave a shit about his apology video in fact I bet most people don't even know that stupid video exists. Unless he visits Japan again and apologize to every single person he mocked, he won't be forgiven here.
I saw the whole Japan video when he first put it out. He was a very disrespectful annoying obnoxious prick who openly insulted Japan and Japanese culture. It made my blood boil and I'm not even Japanese or have any connection with Japan.

I don't know who said it, but "Logan Paul grew a beard and people called it a redemption arc" is a pretty apt way to describe him.
He really did seem like he had changed, I didn't watch his content but I had respected him. So hearing that he scammed a lot of people was jawbreaking and now I have no choice but to shit on him now.

It was obvious a decade ago. But, I’ve heard that the story on the street was that he had changed, he had reformed. And yknow what? If someone is truly putting in the effort to change, I don’t think we should immediately doubt them just based on their past actions

NFTs are useless. If I want an NFT, I just screenshot it and now I have it. I don't understand how anyone would think this would work out. It's like they somehow don't understand the internet, despite depending on the internet.

That title has been my sentiment since I started seeing them transfer from vine to youtube. At that time it was purely the fact that I got a bad vibe but over time they proved my suspicion correct, although I never thought it could go this far. I don't get why people think NFT works as an investment. The whole economic system is just people trying to find suckers who would pay higher than they paid for a bad art, and those suckers are also looking for another suckers who would pay even higher. It's like a pyramid scheme, where they try to sell you a box full of over-priced bad product, but the catch is that they give you a right to resell that for a higher price, so you can go after another sucker who would also want that "right to resell".
Art investment won't work unless there's a value to the art itself that makes people want to own it, even if they overpay for it because the art itself has a artistic or historic value to it. "Projects" aren't art, because only value of the project is that it says "hey you can resell this trash, but we'll make sure this trash keeps people's interest because we are going to pretend to be busy about this project". Value is faked, no one is willing to buy a piece of NFT that you can't resell for a higher price, the whole system is just a legal scam.
