Hard Difficulty Fort Condor Guide - • Easy Wins in Fort Cond...
Fort Condor is basically a big game of rock, paper, scissors, but with a couple added twists. Shield beats sword, sword beats bow, bow beats shield. But then you have flying units that not every unit can attack, and vice versa. You want to build units behind enemy lines to make it so they have to stay busy with you, rather than getting to attack your base. Defeat 3 Rank 1 opponents, 2 Rank 2 opponents, 1 Rank 3 opponent, and the Grandmaster, to receive the trophy Game, Set, Master.

I didnt know about the vendor im over here pulling my hair out against wedge.
I learned that for all of them, I studied what was getting killed fast on my board and so i either did pretty much ALL defense, ALL, ranged or all vanguard. It worked for every person except for like maybe wedge (I honestly forgot if it did or not) and of course chadley.
So for Roche I didn't even need to deploy a unit. Pick Sorcerer 2 board and just use all 3 spells on his HQ for a easy win.

Glad it did the trick for you as well. Makes a seemingly annoying challenge into a cakewalk. I gave up on that final squats challenge at the gym. One mistake in that and you're done.

Majority of these fights are "kill within a minute or be killed", so for Chadley I went all in and he was done for pretty easily. But still it takes a few tries as it all depends on luck, unfortunately..
Coming from the future for anyone still trying to do this. Set the difficulty to easy as well, and make sure you're applying as much pressure to chadleys backline as possible. Your defensive turrents will keep you alive goodluck
Wow, someone who actually beat Chadley legit. I'm going to try this strategy a go. Riot barracks seem OP and then try using the helicopter Boys to keep the sky clear.
I beat Lord Chadsworth the 3rd Esquire in sudden death. There were so many things going on when the condor died I thought it was mine but it wasn't. It was pure luck 🤣
I was struggling with Chadley for a while, tried a few different strategies I found online and this one finally got me to the finish line. Only took about 4 tries with this loadout (after around 3 hours of struggling)
Still valid today. I beat grandmaster on first try. Thank you
For Wedge, i switch my protoype gun with Slug ray facility, game changer. Little risky having three 5s but remembering how fast slug ray facility does pushed me forward with numbers. Now I’m off to challenge chadley.....

A well timed regen on my tower and units turned the tide. Got him 2nd try. Ive been just using your setup for units then trying my own strat with them. Good video.

God this was the most annoying thing ever haha. I got SO lucky with Chadley. I really didn’t deserve that victory but I’ll take it lol. Thanks for your tips. I’ll be honest, I didn’t help me a whole lot just because the RNG on this is so ridiculous, but still it did help some.
I beat Jesse as early as the 1st Assassins board 1, did not need the SlugRay Facilities.

This setup worked really well for me, did wolf, did tank barracks to the far left, regeneration on it, then barrier on the spawned tanks at the left tower, then over whelmed with all the 2 cost players I had. Outright killed him. 2nd attempt
Almost unfair? It is fucking unfair. I've tried so much but I can't even get close to his goal without getting swamped in units
Seriously what the hell did they do to this mini game. Every time I get close he swarms in the flying range things and get swarmed everytime
@@clytcommander1057 Couldn’t tell you. Previous matches were fair, but Chadley being given an unfair advantage is bullshit. There’s challenging, then there’s almost impossible. Why did this have to be right at the beginning?
Just beat chadley, he was stupid easy!!! Wedge was the only one who gave me any trouble at all. He was a monster!!

There is hardly anything fun about this mini game. Steep difficulty curve, unable to manually tell units where to go and who to attack…. ATB never seems fast enough to counteract the AI player. So annoying. Forget Hard, I’ll feel blessed just to beat this on Normal!
The ATB is my problem so far. The middle manager gets 4 spawns for every 1 of mine and just spams slug rays.
How am I supposed to use this guide when your telling me to buy these pieces after we beat an opponent but I haven’t had any opponents so I don’t have in my possession nor have the ability to buy them?

As for wedge he first put sweeper not the elite shock trooper damn wedge is hadder than roche and chadley is worse than those two the mini game is troublesome

Never i had the urge to punch a kid like while playing against him. Usually it took only 2 or 3 defeats for me to learn how to win but this was ridiculous

I used your guide to do this for every challenger except wedge. I tried your guide on him but failed and failed and failed. So I only went to another one for that battle. Worked beautifully for Chadley. It actually went smoother than your recorded battle.
I beat every single person including chadley but except wedge on the first try using this guide.

Anyone know where to get the MOTH unit? Only piece left I'm missing, I've bought every piece from all the shops.
You can get it from one of the vendors where you can also get the rocket launcher turret. Just look on your map for the bag symbol and you will find him easily! I hope this helps! :)
@@johnwatchesyoutubeandstuff3947 trust me, you can definitely get this one from one of the vendors that I have mentioned. Its the northern one if I can remember correctly! there are only three of them overall! It may be connected to some requirements (that I don't know about) but you can buy it there for sure because thats where I have gotten mine :) my tipp: restart chapter one and after the arivival look at the northern shop: when it isn't available, continue with the story until Yuffie and Sonon are coming back to town when soldiers are invading the city. thats when you can go back to the shop again and it might sell different things :) good luck! I am sure you will find it!
Where do I find the riot barracks unit? The condor coin vendor doesnt stock it. Please help! :)
I have to double check my footage, but I am almost positive it's in a chest in the slums.
There is a chest by wedge you get it from there.
best part of remake so far is a mini game 😂.

You get them for defeating opponents, but some are sold by the Happy Turtle Salesman. Check back with him whenever you defeat someone.
Do you use up your pieces and boards? Like if I use a assassin board will I be able to use it again on the next challenger
Nope you can constantly reuse them

Yea, your Wedge strategy didn't work for me. To the point they took down both of my bases less than 2 mins. It has to be RNG because Shock Trooper only showed up like 30 secs left.

but what about defeating Chadley on hard mode?! you can't win by sudden death on hard and actually have additional 60 seconds at the end of the timer to take down the main condor and that's exactly where I am getting my Game Over all the time. the problem for me isn't even the amount of enemies, but time unfortunately :( I need to win this for the trophy and to max out Yuffie's and Sonon's weapons.
Is that on Hard difficulty or is that a special Chadley match? I beat him and then made this guide. I haven't actually completed the first major quest yet haha.
@@SweetJohnnyCage these are the overall rules for every single Fort Condor Opponent on hard difficulty. You have defeated him on regular mode in the video :) I am currently on my second playthrough and only struggling to defeat Chadley cause of the harder difficulty, stricter battle rules, and time limit. it isn't a special match, just the last opponent to get the trophy and increased stats.

Completed the game on hard. Most of them beat them first try except wedge and Chadley. Wedge annoyed me cause he was my first opponent without having good units.
I used assassin board 3. No idea where i got it but it’s awesome to overwhelm your opponent at the start. Bought blast rey and slug ray facility for it. Chadley took a few retries. But that’s cause i wanted the sweeper to be first and counter the annoying fort spamming.

Super fun until you get to Chadley. Then it's just RNG. The key tip from this video is placement matters; keep your factories and turrets out of the central line of fire and they survive a lot longer. Surprised people are having a lot of trouble with Wedge. For him, I recommend using the Assassin II board and just matching him unit for unit until he goes down.
Only idiots thought Kyrie was Yuffie. LOL
I wouldn't be that harsh about it. It's a reasonable suspicion. Teenage thief girl is a generic character type, and many people thought it was Yuffie in disguise, which would make some sense.
