Kinda sounds like copium. Game of the year don’t get me wrong. But world intel is incredibly repetitive. So for sure a weird flex, enjoy the story whenever u get a chance to play it
I'm in early Chapter 7 and I only just obtained Titan's summon materia, and even that was with Titan at his weakest....not that I was in desperate need of Titan since I already had the DLC & Save Data Bonus summons of Leviathan, Ramuh, & Magic Pot. Though it will be interesting to see how strong 4-star Titan is compared to Leviathan or Ramuh. I want to get Phoenix's materia too, but I can't figure out what I have to do to get to the last crystal for Phoenix, since it's in an area blocked by NPCs who won't let me pass. Though I could be easily missing something that should be obvious, as I can be kinda oblivious at times.
The pheonix is not blocks you just have to go around the long way. I got all three without having to go past the npc. To the right on the junon map there is a huge wooden bridge near the huge sunken ships
There may be one or two people who don’t realize this: it’s a lot easier to master your weapon’s skills by just doing Chadley’s Simulator battles. Once you unlock that at Chocobo Bill’s Ranch just do the single character battles and use your skills until they’re learned. It’s a lot faster that way than by doing it in normal battles and you need to do those simulator battles anyway because you get a lot of great materia from those battles! You start out with virtually no materia, but knocking out Chadley’s VR battles will load you up with some good materia for your characters. It’s a two for one, baby! Edit: Pro-Tip! You can pet the Chocobo Chick and you must give it a head scratch and rub every time. EVERY TIME. I absolutely hate the new Upgrade Weapon system; I really wish they would have just kept the one from Remake.
If you’re running low on Items such as Potions and Ethers you can easily farm them to 99 each in locations with several stacked Shinra crates. After destroying them Save and then Load the current save. Rinse and Repeat until reaching 99 of an item.
@@folarinadebo4443 As of 3/8/24 this still works even for resources in the open world. After getting resources, Save and then Load the most recent save. Rinse and repeat. Resources will cumulatively add up.

Beautifully done. Some helpful info as I’m still at the beginning of the game. Right to the point and extremely clear. Great tips. I just subscribed. Thanks!
Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but weapons also have a proficiency bonus that is listed in the equipment menu when you change weapons. If you go after these bonuses, the proficiency goes up quicker. For Sleek Saber, for example, the bonus is to exploit an enemy’s weakness. So if you use the skill on an enemy weak to Ice, you’ll still get proficiency exp (i believe), but you will get more if you use it on an enemy weak to fire or lightning.
And the funny thing is that in the Grasslands you have these blue elephants who are weak against fire and ice (i believe), so if you have Sleek Saber you get that one super fast if you use it's ability, wich also kills them insanely fast.

You mentioned that you always have to have Cloud in the party - I haven't started my playthrough yet but this isn't consistent with what I've read elsewhere, that you can change party leader and run a party without him. Just wanted to verify!
I played the Nibelheim demo and got 3/4 interesting Materia. When in the full game it asks if I want to skip the Nibelheim part and I say yes, I don't get the interesting Materia. Are they perishable? Do I start a new game?
The Materia you got in the Demo will still be in the same location in the Main game. I recommend that you not skip the Nibelheim part and replay to re-get the Materia back. Also, if you skip it you’ll miss out on the Trophies you can easily get fighting monsters and the Boss fight here.
It seems if you have PS+ you can upload and download save data from cloud. It is also possible to use something you can store data on like a usb stick or a external hard drive with usb cable.
When you just barely got a PS5 and missed out on Intergrade, thus missing out on Ramuh...... sad soldier noises. I wonder if I could load it up right now, n then try n get Ramuh even tho I've already started Rebirth?
I wish i caught this video sooner. Looking up guides to make sure i don't miss anything in the grasslands. Other videos on "early game stuff" shows clips and cutscenes from well past the grasslands...showing other weapons being used that can be found later in the game. It's annoying. This all said...I appreciate your video only covering grassland content only. Very helpful stuff here, im 12 hours in so far and feel im still trying to figure so much out...especially with the combat. I have encounters where i just barely make it out alive.
When you first start this game, you are kinda overloaded with info. This video is meant to help you process all of the info you’ve learned within the first few hours. Really helped me, and I’m sure it helped the other 200k viewers.
How is square enix sending early access review copies? Did you as for it or did they came to you. This seems like a small gaming channel compare to other no offense just in case I am just curious.
I have another Pokemon Channel at about 500k subs. But I'm pretty sure my views on this channel match up with some well known FF Creators. I didn't get FF16 Early and did ok with that Launch
Cool tips! Here is a tip, just mash square through every combat to win! I didn't even know you could get materia from chadly until the end of the game. Didn't matter, as long as I was.pressing square during battle. What a joke of a game, and a disgrace to the original. 5/10 at best.
I wonder if the gold chocobo has all the chocobo skills. Assuming they let you breed a Gold Chocobo. Like I wonder if it has rock climbing abilities and super high jump ability.
I'm used to open world games but this... This is nuts. Whoever said its 100hours to 100% the game either speedran it, skipped cutscenes or were talking out of their ass.
No one made a video about the ability to spam resources yet???? Loot an area, save game reload and loot again, rinse and repeat. The loot isn't always the same for example, emerald became a Ruby after my reload but great at stocking up

I played remake, but not the DLC. Is it worth playing now when Rebirth is out already? Also, I have remake obviously on PS4, how do I easiest transfer what is needed from that one to PS5? Great tips btw!
DLC save data good for ramuh. I’d say at least watch the cut scenes for it to understand yuffie back story
@@PhillyBeatzGames Thanks!
Thank you
You're welcome
You mentioned that you always have to have Cloud in the party - I haven't started my playthrough yet but this isn't consistent with what I've read elsewhere, that you can change party leader and run a party without him. Just wanted to verify!
You can change party leader but cloud will remain mandatory in your party until post game
The Yuffie Side story no longer is available. Does this mean I'll never be able to get Ramuh?
I played the Nibelheim demo and got 3/4 interesting Materia.
When in the full game it asks if I want to skip the Nibelheim part and I say yes, I don't get the interesting Materia. Are they perishable? Do I start a new game?
Your items and materia don’t carry over. It just allows you to skip it.
@@IzzyMorph621 All these Materia can you get it later in shops or returning to the reactor later?
The Materia you got in the Demo will still be in the same location in the Main game. I recommend that you not skip the Nibelheim part and replay to re-get the Materia back. Also, if you skip it you’ll miss out on the Trophies you can easily get fighting monsters and the Boss fight here.
@@marcmarcus7552 You’ll also get some Bonus Materia and Items for completing the Demo, FF7 Remake, and FF7 Intermission under System - DLC/Bonus
I can't get both leviathan or ramuh is it beacause i have save data on my another ps5 account?
Yeah
It seems if you have PS+ you can upload and download save data from cloud. It is also possible to use something you can store data on like a usb stick or a external hard drive with usb cable.
When you just barely got a PS5 and missed out on Intergrade, thus missing out on Ramuh...... sad soldier noises.
I wonder if I could load it up right now, n then try n get Ramuh even tho I've already started Rebirth?
You can
@@PhillyBeatzGames outstanding! Thank you, I appreciate you.
Edit: it worked. Right on!
I got the Sleek and Saber how do I equip it?
Equipment
@@PhillyBeatzGamesAh Ty
Have a problem with Arieth not auto healing
Make sure it’s healing materia and autocast
she can't heal if she you don't have a bar. so, if you're not using her to fight probably won't normally have a bar.
I’m in the area next to junon and it won’t let me fast travel back to the area I was in before
You can once you get to junon chocobo farm
Dude is tha the music in the back ground aecret of manas background music from the original snes game.
Don't know if anyone said this but you can also keep replaying the moogle game and will still reward a medal.
I love rebirth!😊
I wish i caught this video sooner. Looking up guides to make sure i don't miss anything in the grasslands. Other videos on "early game stuff" shows clips and cutscenes from well past the grasslands...showing other weapons being used that can be found later in the game. It's annoying.
This all said...I appreciate your video only covering grassland content only. Very helpful stuff here, im 12 hours in so far and feel im still trying to figure so much out...especially with the combat. I have encounters where i just barely make it out alive.
I do my best to pace my videos with how players are progressing! Should have the Junon tips later
The sword was also in Kalm. I sold some items bought it from Kalm before leaving.
Waste of Gil
Sorry for your loss friend
You get the gil back by that chest in the swamps. I believe it was like 3k Gil instead of the sword
chest respawns later with Gil even with the sword showing up so its a double win@@xXGhostStalker
For in air combat, with any sword of clouds.. Just press dodge (circle), then hold the attack button (square).. Thank me later
There is nothing in this video that the game doesn't teach you as you simply play...
When you first start this game, you are kinda overloaded with info. This video is meant to help you process all of the info you’ve learned within the first few hours. Really helped me, and I’m sure it helped the other 200k viewers.
@@slurrpyslurp6449 my statement stands
@@LtTakariilol good for your statement.
@@Nicksta177 this comment reply has even less value
I know, but I still watched and enjoyed it😂
"you'll always usually find some boxes... 65% of the time, it works every time
How is square enix sending early access review copies? Did you as for it or did they came to you. This seems like a small gaming channel compare to other no offense just in case I am just curious.
I have another Pokemon Channel at about 500k subs. But I'm pretty sure my views on this channel match up with some well known FF Creators. I didn't get FF16 Early and did ok with that Launch
Great awesome game!
oof i sold some items in ch 1 to buy the sleek saber in kalm so when i got to that chest i was just given some gil instead
Cool tips! Here is a tip, just mash square through every combat to win! I didn't even know you could get materia from chadly until the end of the game. Didn't matter, as long as I was.pressing square during battle. What a joke of a game, and a disgrace to the original. 5/10 at best.
How soon can you get Vincent?
You don’t. You get him and Cid in Part 3 and
How many swords can you get total?
i think around 6-7 per character
@@PhillyBeatzGames weaaaakkkkkkk but thanjs
dang lame hopefully one is Excalipur
Oh man my saved data is on Steam just got the PS5 last month but that is okay more grind for me
And remember! Always pet the little chocobos at the chocobo stops! 🥰
I wonder if the gold chocobo has all the chocobo skills. Assuming they let you breed a Gold Chocobo. Like I wonder if it has rock climbing abilities and super high jump ability.
I never found one in the game
yeah sadly I'm pretty sure that's all left out haven't beat the game yet thought.
I'm used to open world games but this... This is nuts. Whoever said its 100hours to 100% the game either speedran it, skipped cutscenes or were talking out of their ass.
I actually beat everything at around 97 hours
You open up talking about how Cloud's swamp sword is one of the best... and never say why.
40 hours into the game and I'm just walking around costa del sol in swim shorts fighting monsters with a big ass sword 😅
i will say the skill is one of the best. there are afew bosses and enemies its a detriment
i mean if you do all your intels you find everything , but that first specific sword is literally on the first open world story mission....
Don't have Aerith as your healer, Barret is clearly the healer, Aerith is a damage machine, especially once you start getting her abilities.
She’s my early game healer but Barrett does sound better and we can make him tanky thanks!!
He was my first choice for main healer
That's cool, but i sold my ethers in the beginning of the game and bought it 😅
No one made a video about the ability to spam resources yet???? Loot an area, save game reload and loot again, rinse and repeat. The loot isn't always the same for example, emerald became a Ruby after my reload but great at stocking up
Making this into a short thanks!!! Does this work on boxes and even things Chocobo has to dig?? Chests too?
I hope its easier to upgrade materia this time around.
It deff feel it is!
I really would line to play this game but the amount of things to do and manage seems a bit too much for me. Im now 45 and loved to do these thinks before but think am getting old :(
If you buy the saber, you get Barrett’s rifle instead
6:32 it is faster doing it with a chocobo
Found the abandoned dock by chance. It was a gil chest. No weapon inside.
Did you buy the weapon already in kalm?
@@PhillyBeatzGames Yeah, I later found out all weapons are available in the wild. That gil is gone hehe
The chocobo kid literally tells you that you can go back to kalm lol
i must have ignored him
@@PhillyBeatzGames fair enough 🤣 I've been skipping a lot of npc dialogue
Sword wasn't in box at beginning was something else.
Then you bought it from Kalm
