Activation Intels are accessible as soon as you advance Chapter 9, man story quest, when the South Gate in Gongaga- West part of the region. Chocobo will be automatically unlocked in Gongaga Region. Important Note, mushrooms are crucial for this Gongaga Region to Travel and get to places. Chocobo stops are important for the area because they bring you to locations where mushrooms are. Complete all Fiend Intel, Kujata Sanctuary, complete protorelics, and do all excavation Intels.

I think the best accessory is the one you can transmute from the item dropped by the Classified Fiend Intel in Corel. That accessory gives you 30 vitality, 30 spirit, immunity to Slow/Stop & Instant Death. It allows you to make up for the lack of defense when using high materia slot armor that has lower defense. It basically makes you able to have Plus 70 defense/magic defense when you combine it with the 6 slot materia you can transmute at the highest levels. That's insane numbers for tanking anything in the game while also having all the materia to have an arsenal of attacks/buffs.
Karmic cowl is SO good and broken
Btw you forgot to mention you can pick up Yuffie and Cait Sith weapon in Gongona village. Yuffie is in the hut where she’s at just when you reach the village for the first time and cait sith is near the village down by the river in a cave you can just jump off the bridge and into the water and swim towards the small cave

This is were I'm in the game at level 40. Needed to get some tips on a guide I'm trying to get comet materia and poison and the gravity materia. I need to no if you can do a video on how to craft assessories please. Keep up the good work.
Im not sure if it was mentioned in this video or maybe i missed it. But theres also a weapon for Yuffie in the town when you chat with her on the couch.
Overall very good area & looks great. Although the map can be a bit frustrating at first. If you’re having trouble with the piano use R1 & speed up the timing. Seems counter intuitive but it makes it easier. Turn it to max then slow it down as needed.

Every chocobo should have the same subtle glide ability as the Nibel chocobo. Any buff against terrain collision in this game is huge.
For Piano, try to adjust the note speed to level 2 or speed that u feel comfortable with. I managed to get A rank with Level 2 speed note. Use R1 to change the note's speed .
Exactly, for cinco chocobo, the rhythm is way off, I had to mute everything, play at level 2 speed and got A rank first try, to anyone struggling can give this method a go.

Crazy this map was gorgeous I enjoyed this region but transversing it was a nightmare until I figured out the flow of the map, same with cosmo canyon my two favorite visual maps
I didn't have a problem with cosmo canyon, gongaga is horrible to navigate... I have 100% grasslands, junon, corel, cosmo canyon, half of gongaga and gave up and just started grinding nibel. On NG+ Cos I finished the story and completed everything at gold saucer, all queen's blood, 2 pirates treasure and nearly all weapons for every character.
@@nathanking5137 the navigation of it is horrible but hear me out, there is a flow design I know it sounds crazy but once I figured it out I was able to 100% the area I’m on my first play through so I make it a point to 100% the area before I move on admittedly I spent 4 hours just wandering around lol but I got it figured out
the morbol really baited me really good, i mean who in his right mind see a morbol and think "Ha yes i need ice for a grass monster"... i can almost ear the rick rolling. Also for all who are at Cosmo Canyon please go check the inn, there is a great surprise
Also, for some reason i dont have the cosmotite ore in the shop? Ive already completed gongaga, and actually just finished chap 10 as well so im not sure why its not there?
that gongaga map is so confusing. the level desing is so cool , but so cool , there is a section to the right , i have no idea how to access it .
For Head Case combat sim, I used Sleep linked to Magnify right as my synergy pips was ready. Made the fight much more manageable.

From a person who plays Elden rings, the freedom we get in maneuvering around the map was much more smooth and free. They should’ve taken more time for their map navigation system. I felt frustrated and too much controlled, not in a good way but at the gameplay level which is bad given that their combat system in rebirth is SO GOOD.
I REALLY suck at the piano mini game. And all of the remake trilogy mini games so far are HELL ON EARTH

im gonna try bring 2 people instead of 3 because getting Mind Blast has been a huge headache.

@PJMiaga it took me about a day, after giving up after like 20 tries, to finally beat it.
I took cloud and yuffie, put first strike on yuffie plus a few other atb materia on her and the sleep method. Kept struggling with the other small mobs waking up and attacking, was getting super pissed lol

Nothing in Gongaga is a straight point on the map when doing side quest stuff. It's a pain just trying to do anything non story related. I'm glad you can return later if needed. Something Remake wouldn't allow you to do until you beat the game.

I really liked this region. Jungles aren't supposed to be easy to navigate. This felt authentic. Also, having mushrooms to bounce off and vines to slide on made it so much more interesting. Makes you look at the map more closely to see potential paths.
Yea i realized that was the trick look at which mushroom were across other mushrooms haha
One of the best looking areas with the most frustrating layout. So glad I am finally done with it.

Stop trying to pronounce Kujata in an indic accent. It’s not.
Cy-FIN Siphon is pronounced Cy-"fin" Like the fin of a fish. Magnify sleep onto the mindflayer, every 20 seconds or as you note his pals awake... and enfeeblement ring one of the 3 party members to keep the 2 on the main boss.
I am getting better at the piano game and get grade A in 3-10 tries... First one took 50-100 over 3 hours so I did suck at it. Trick is turn the volume down, mute the TV. It is all sight reactions.
