I will never understand why modern women cannot cook or think that cooking is what they call slavery. Any man who hitches himself to a woman who cannot cook or refuses to cook, he and his children deserve whatever they get. Cooking equals to the health of you and your family. I also believe a man should be able to cook because cooking is a survival skill.
Women should also change tires, oil and pay bills it's a survival skill.

Thank god, I grew up in the country where my mother, both grandmothers and great grandmother taught me how to cook. It’s definitely how I show love.

I love cooking for people that are dear to me. I love cooking for my husband as well. Sometimes I may not feel up to it but it’s got to be done. How can a woman not want to cook for her man. 😔

This is hilarious 😂. My cousin was feeding her kids pop tarts for breakfast lunch and dinner. I'm a dude and when I saw her doing that I had her givee her foodstamp card and I went grocery shopping. I made her a gigantic pot of chilli, this was really for the kids. I made sure to put the works in because the kids is probably malnourished. That situation is common now, too many of them are unfit to be mothers or wives.
That's so wonderful for you to do. So many times family members see things like this, talk about how horrible it is and don't want to help. Even though it isn't really your responsibility, you stepped up!!! I know the kids loved it. I hope she appreciated what you did.

My husband retired because he 14 yrs older then me, and he luvvvvvvvvvvv to cook, and always put me out the kitchen because he just luv to cook. He told me since I'm still younger than him he will do all the cooking because I'm still working. Both kids are grown and gone, so only me and him in the house. I tell my lady friends at least find you some type of man that can cook and know how to do handy stuff around the house.

I miss my Korean and Black Grandmothers cooking. They knew how to feed their families. Once in awhile we ate outside, it was a treat not an every day thing. Learned from them the great importance of home cooking, it builds up the family.

Man, I thank God for my wife's attitude towards cooking and cleaning. I'm so used to not asking for much because of experiences with previous women, but she encourges me to. She gets visibly happy EVERYTIME I ask her to cook for me or make my tea or coffee.

Phillip that was one hell of a point you made. You cannot always depend on restaurants to eat because things like the pandemic. Cooking is a basic necessity that every man and especially women should know. Me personally I know how the women of today take no pride in cooking so I'm make it my business to know how to cook for myself.

Phil cooking for the family by females ended years ago. I grew up in a "family" full of females and MOST of them cannot cook and will say that they are not cooking for a man. Then they get mad at me because I know how to cook very well and have told them that I will no longer be cooking for anyone that cannot cook for me.

Cooking is essential, not just for relationships, but survival! I cook for my husband, but not every day because I work full time and sometimes I may be tired or may not fell well, and he understands that. But, you got to eat! It makes you feel good when you cook for husband and he prefers your food to outside food.

Grew up watching my old school Geechee Gullah grandmother cook from scratch and started cooking dinner parties in college. After feeding members of my church and seeing how much the effort meant to them, I fell in love with cooking. Now I cook every day, even if it's just for the relative I help out and I am fasting that day. I could not imagine not knowing how to cook and needing to rely on takeout and restaurants to eat everyday.
