    I'm a psychologist who has taken care of many physicians and other medical professionals who were traumatized by the pandemic, and the conditions under which you all had to work.       @@Healthyimmunedoc you are a true wounded healer. I appreciate you tremendously! I remember during my internship, in the ER getting so weak that the nurses had me lie down in a bed, immediately started iv fluid and I felt better. I proceeded to see the patient who was patiently waiting for me to be OK and examine him in the NEXT BED! Imagine that.

      You have helped me so much. Elderberry has crossed my radar having experienced a second wave of sinusitis. I'm changing my diet to eliminate junk food so I won't wear myself down. I'm 66 and have a lot to do. Thank you sooo much.

    I am a board certified ophthalmologist. A colleague of mine contracted zoster from a patient. It was horrible for her. She is Asian and was never out in the sun. Your video explains a lot. I always wondered how she got it generalized when the patient had it only on his skin! Thank you so much. This is real medicine as it was taught by the fathers of medicine.

    I am doing an experiment where I am replacing my usual dinner of a grain bowl (grain or starchy vegetable, steamed greens and/or non starchy vegetable, beans, nuts and salad) with a large bowl of fruit, which I will have by 7pm to facilitate intermittent fasting and possibly weight loss. So far so good. I am sleeping better and also my BM appears better too. I do have the grain bowl for lunch with a large salad. For breakfast I have oatmeal, fruit and nuts with a salad. I also have lemon water, decaf tea and matcha tea some time in the morning and herbal teas in the afternoon. I started this way of eating this week so still in the trial period.

    Growing up in Eastern Europe we had a mix of ancient practices and modern medicine. I am glad seeing ancient medicine and practices (that modern medicine is based on) is coming back.

    Whole plants for the win! I switched to a whole food plant based diet in 2014 and have never looked back. Along with weight bearing exercise I have been able to reverse severe osteoporosis. I rarely get sick anymore. I love kabocha squash also!

    This is an outstanding channel. If I may -- a suggestion. Please avoid adding any sound effects such as sounds for subscribing and alerts. They are unnecessary. There is so much information in each video that any extraneous sounds may distract the focus of some of the audience. Please keep up the fantastic work.

    Absolutely green tea. I put half a teaspoon of matcha tea powder in my shredded wheat cereal and soy milk. However, be careful not to over dose with green tea capsules which I used to do, which can stress out the liver since the active ingredient in green tea is metabolized in the liver. The liver can get stressed out.

    Your videos are giving me such great info presented in a way that I can easily understand. And I hope you don't mind me saying, your presentation and personality or voice, doesn't cause me anxiety like a lot of other videos do.
    For the past 3 years I've been on a gastroparesis diet with hardly any fiber, fresh fruits or vegetables. I have diabetes, and so terribly addicted to sugar and carbs, I honestly just been waiting to die. My liver is now extremely fatty, my LDL is over 300, my pancreas is more broken, my A1C went up by three points.
    Since the GP is only mild, I've been able to add in whole grains, and small salads. I already feel better thanks to your videos.
    I have hope for the first time in years. 😊

      @@Lara-EL I recently started matcha after a friend referred me to the brand she uses. It's in a powder form. 1/2 teaspoon in 8oz of hot water, not quite boiling (I heard it isn't good to use boiling water). Perfect water temperature for me is 175 degrees or about 79 Celsius I use an inexpensive electric whisk to blend the tea and water. I drink as is. some people add sweeteners to it, but I prefer no sugar or sweetener added.

    Thank you so much for this video, packed full of extremely useful information! I have a question, what are your thoughts of adding extra-virgin olive oil to , in particular to a salad, if a person is not overweight. Apparently there are a couple of prominent plant-based doctors that are now saying it’s OK to add Extra-virgin olive oil to food because of the polyphenols in them. Many prominent plant based doctors are still against it like Dr. Campbell, Dr. Esselstyn, Dr. Fuhrman and Dr Barnard to name a few. Dr. Kahn and Dr. Williams, both plant based cardiologists, have changed their position on this. As a prominent doctor in the plant-based nutrition world, I am wondering what your thoughts are on this. Thank you!

    In my 30s I got antibiotic triggered c diff that reoccurred and led to a perforation and colostomy (now reversed). That was 10 years ago and I still struggle so much with systemic inflammation I didn’t have before c diff. One of my biggest obstacles is that when I eat healthy, especially salad, or try taking vitamins, they all seem to irritate my gut and cause inflammation to flare up. Only very simple foods that aren’t very nutritious are easy enough on me. Hopefully this gets better in time. Btw I’ve been vegan for 8 years, but primarily can only tolerate tofu , rice, potatoes, and soups.

    Wonderful channel.. ❤ Dehydration follows me everywhere:) Water does not always do it - I have to add lemon or cucumber or drink carbonated. Sometimes milk works better for me but I take some medicines that don't help . I find leaving a bottle of sparkling or still water on every surface around my most frequented home regions with a glass helps me remember to drink the water part daily as I move around from room to room.

      Try Aloe Gold (tablets). 30 minutes before any offending foods. Also, 30 minutes before after any medication (it coats the the lining of the stomach).

      try getting Wyman's frozen wild blueberries. (If you're in U.S. available at Walmart or Costco. I blend a cup of berries with water and lemon juice as a 1st of the day smoothie. Also get a concentrated elderberry juice and add a spoonful to the smoothie.

    Thanks for your excellent informative videos. My drinking h20 increased but i have to increase my home prepared green matcha sweet tea. Operative word sweet. I monitor my sweeting of my tea. Fiber emphasis is the insoluble fiber? Or the soluble fiber?
