i spend 550 $$$ on the latte art course and been struggling since then, not even able to pour a simple heart shape art... but after this video, some trial and error, in short amount of time, i able to do it! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Much appreciated!
Lol, it's like when I interview bartenders, and they say they have their bartending license. I'm like, ok, so you got scammed. The best way to learn is to be humble, be honest, and pay your does
Bit silly that the world is full of barrista teachers, when the world only needs one. This guy. I wonder what people will do for work as humanity strives towards increased productivity and automation.
this one 8 minute video explains more than a one hour paid course I found. Christ, some people shouldn't get anywhere near teaching anything ;) Thank you. This is pure gold, everything clear, transparent (you're not keeping 3/4 of crucial information for youself). There's so "I don't know, I just kinda do this.. and it does this.. and it works" lol. You sir are a gem. Thanks again!
I loved the repetition at different speeds and that multiple angles were shown at once so we could get a better idea of the angles involved. Also the demonstrator is so relaxing and encouraging! Best tutorial video ever.
Been cursing all these so called tutorials showing you someone doing it but no real info about how. Certainly not all the critical “how’s”. You explained them all, including practice liquids which we were also wondering. You should be commended. More proof that regardless how much content is loaded up to RUclips, a good quality video is still always needed and appreciated. ❤
From someone that has spent countless hours trying to grasp latte art througg lengthy tutorials I can honestly say this video is the only one that actually helps us beginners - thank you!! 🎉
Amazing - I spent over 4 years and wasted I don't know how many gallon of milk to practice but today I finally make my happy heart - Thank a lot for the video master!
This video is super helpful. I have been struggling to get good latte art. I followed the exact same steps in this video, I got super good heart shape! 😍
Thank you SO much!! Finally someone who is not only a good barista, but also a good teacher who understands the problems of us "home brewers" who'll never get the practical experience of someone working in a coffee shop. Can't wait to try it! :))
After spending so much video on latte art, this is IMO the best of them all. God, nobody mentions about prepping the canvas and the spout on the rim of the cup. These two steps made it 'click' to me. THANK YOU!
Obviously the art of teaching is being relaxed and simplifying whatever you are trying to teach. You did that very well in a short length of time. Super!!
Thanks for your tutorial, I'm definitely getting there, I'll be training harder and will do a perfect heart in a near future! update: well, it's been a week of training and I did it!
I am currently taking up a barista course and we were told that latte arts were going to be part of our finals. I've been browsing tutorial videos for beginners and found yours very informative. Latte arts are so fascinating to me (one being a coffee drinker, second being an art graduate) but I can never seem to get it right... yet. I hope I can apply your tips in the near future. ☺
So happy I found this clear, well made tutorial! I keep struggling with latte art, getting weird shapes or nothing at all. Working in a busy environment doesn't help, as I'm always rushing things. But now I can try to take my time and understand what I'm actually doing! Thank you so much! 💖
Alan helped a lot with the last video, I already had the technique to pour for latte art but I'd never used an espresso machine for steaming milk or brewing espresso and thanks his advises and tips I've imported a lot.
I’ve seen many tutorials as I’m getting into learning latte art. This video is the best hands down. Perfect instructions and video demonstrations. Perfect! Thanks for helping us beginners lol.saved!
This is a fantastic series! Great to hear a shout out to World Latte Art Champion Lance Hedrick too. His channel is an absolute gold mine of coffee knowledge
Cheers! We just met Lance at WBC IN Milan. Only a small correction - technically, he is not World Latte Art Champion (by Specialty Coffee Association)!
I think this is the best and most simple video to go with. It actually sinks into your soul while watching and listening. Thanks for uploading because I'm actually learning a lot 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great tutorial. The cutaway graphic showing the angle of where the espresso shot sits in the cup was really helpful. I also did not know about the first pour (step 1). Looking forward to trying this.
This was my very first latte art video and it was VERY educational. I love the diagrams, slow mo, precision. I'm going to go watch all the rest of the videos. Amazing. Thank you sooooo much.
Super helpful! 🎉 I'm learning latte art as a hobby at home and I'm finally being able to poor a decent heart thanks to your instructions. I love the illustrations you show on the video. Thank you so much! ❤
Hi, your video is superb. Very detailed and I think it put many courses out there to shame. You have slow motion, top view and side view. I am speechless by the level of details. Keep it coming.

Had no idea to swirl the espresso and first bit of milk TOGETHER TO make a canvas! So many other videos don’t suggest it. GAME CHANGER -(home barista).
AMAZING, this explanation is on whole another level 🔥 ! I hope i can do better in all basic latte art patterns , im struggling with the heart patterns instead of tulip
This video helped a lot, I've been trying it only a few days but with this video, I got closer to a heart. I think it's gonna take a few more days but I'm optimistic 🎉
This is the best video I have seen on how to pour the milk into an expresso first before you try to make the shape now I can see where I have been going wrong in pouring all the milk straight onto the expresso, I shall try this next time 👍
WOW!! thank you. brand new at home beginner. I love that you slowed things down and explained multiple times. Too many people talk so fast my brain cannot keep up; plus it seems a lot of videos are trying to teach an actual barista not an at home grandma 🙂
Very good video. I’m trying to learn this skill and have a ways to go. I’ve watched quite a few videos on this topic and what stands out for me is the explanation of why you do the steps of the technique and the clear way it’s described verbally and visually, 10/10 from my perspective.
7:08 oh my god that was exactly was I was thinking, had been wondering through the whole video if there was a way to train this without making another coffee, video is on point.
Just tried latte art for the very first time after watching this video. Failed miserably, but that was entirely of my own fault 😂thanks for the video, I am excited to improve and learn this beautiful art!
Thanks a lot for explaining the core technical details so well. Although I have a milk frother, I do not have a machine, a pitcher or a proper shaped cup. I use a lot of skill and interest to learn this art with whatever I have at hand. Great video!
Tried it for the first time this morning and I almooooost got it! Microfoam was on point and everything. I was starting to make the shape, but forgot steps so it didn't work. Fingers crossed for my 2nd morning latte hahaha Thank you so much for the tips and tricks!

same situation here.
idk why watching this tutorial video more easy catch on my brain rather than watching the mentor at the class. LOL

This is the best tutorial on the coffee art I have seen. The two simultaneous videos combined side-by-side is a perfect learning technique!
I loved the repetition at different speeds and that multiple angles were shown at once so we could get a better idea of the angles involved. Also the demonstrator is so relaxing and encouraging! Best tutorial video ever.
