I have learned blender for a while and always struggled with render time with cycle, that's when ue5 came into my mind. But after searching for tutorials after tutorials, nothing really got me actually started UE until I came cross your videos. Just like blender guru your tutorials are easy to understand, have clear instructions for essential stuff, getting decent visible results that can keep me going which for me are most important elements to let me finish a tutorial. Thank you so much for this and make this free! Weather is getting cold and it's great time for me to warm up my room a little bit by firing up my GPU!❤❤
i Was trying to started ue4,5 from 4 years but I can't started, now I am watching your course and now I am learning very well from yo guys, your appreciations and method of teaching make me keep moving forward. Thank you guys...
Just started learning UE5 last week and I have watched at least 4 videos on materials alone(Some more than once or twice). This is the first one that actually went in depth to truly explain whats going on and the options. I have enjoyed the series so far and I have to say you guys made modeling seam so easy. You really are doing an amazing job teaching this stuff. Thank you guys so much for making this series, I hope you do more In depth videos on these and other topics as well.
This tutorial series is more addictive than a 3 hrs long movie. A great way of explaining, most of the questions you guys ask amongst yourselves are the ones that I have while watching the tutorial.
Thank you so much for an awesome tutorial series. I have gotten to lesson 6 in 2weeks. I never believed ill ever get this deep in a tutorial series. I always give up after the first 20mins.

I sincerely hope you guys blow up and more people find you when they have to learn UE5. Thanks for everything.👍

AO Map Ambient Occlusion (AO) is a normal lookup calculation to use instead of Global Illumination (GI) for environment lighting. The occlusion areas of the ambient lighting is saved as a black and white calculation based on the normals of your model and will be used to mult the ambient lighting only in the white areas of the resulted calculated texture. .. the AO map.. Absolutely my friend. Oh that's a shame! Well have you tried turning down your "Engine Scalability Settings" from cinematic to something lower? Maybe your pc can handle it better that way. You can try to also restart a new project just to test material instances to see if by any chance this project is corrupted... but i doubt that this is the case!

Hey guys! What an amazing tutorial you've made. I haven't seen such good, fun and easy to watch material for a long time! I have a one question. Why multiplying RGB values increase intensity of a light? Shouldn't it just change the color? Even if we hit the upper limit, it just should make our emmit light color just white? This is the only part i don't get. Could you please explain? Thank you!

Every time I try to import the textures, Unreal Crashes. I really don't know what i'm doing wrong. I also have a Lighting Needs To Be Rebuilt message for 74 items that I'm unsure how to fix.
I'm kind of stuck here... The whole Quixel bridge megascan thing moved to Fab, and Whatever i try, I only get as far as 'subscribe' when trying to download the assets we actually need for this course
Hi!! Question: is there possible in UE to apply the scale? Like in blender, when we stretched it, we can just apply the scale so it goes back to 1,1,1 but with the size already scaled. Just curious, because if it's possible, sometimes we don't even need to do the tiling for some/many cases. Thanks!!
You can also ALT+click on the node line to remove it. That removes the line right away. CTRL+click repositions the line
Thank you! This helped.
