Yeah, the Tribit on the mid to upper mid volume levels may be just a bit deeper. I noticed playing this video on my PC that I had a little more rattling going on during the Flow song. When you get up to max volume the Tribit loses some of that bass extension.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews it does, I notice it on my unit too. Still plenty enough for me, but the Soundcore does sound like a more powerful speaker overall. Thanks for confirming :)

Some say the 2 plus is the Blast killer, but no. It looks more refined, but both have EQ, and the loudness between the two is negligible. I am not reading 140w RMS watts for the Boom 2 Plus. Sources say 140w max power, which are peak watts, which do not translate well to how loud it can get. Alan had mentioned that there's a bit of a muffled sound on the Boom 2 plus. Despite the mids and highs, I'm getting the same impression. The blast was never excellent with mids and highs, but the sound signature is warm and very pleasant to listen to. Soundcore has strong branding and marketing, and consistently produces streamlined products, but they still haven't produced something that truly kills the blast on all fronts. The "not quite there" lows, the poorly placed lights, even the build quality that isn't all that great from what Im reading, I'm not so sure that the it's worth the current price.
Yeah, both of these are good speakers with similar options. The price is the one real glaring difference. Of course it's not really fair considering the Blast has been out for like a couple of years now and is often on sale. I'm sure once the Boom 2 Plus has been out for a while it will wind up with a $50 coupon on Amazon, dropping it to $199.99.
@@markpercyabjelina3437 why do people complain so much about the weight? It’s not to work out with. You simply lift, and set it on top of something and enjoy the music.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews It’s why many people rave about the W-KING X20. The fact that it gets super loud & holds the sound together at near max & or max volumes. Along with a better than average battery life.
Encore as a speaker especially for Bass. Boom 2 for portability, and battery life. If you're using it at home Encore is probably better, but you can carry your Boom 2 plus everywhere, and it's waterproof!
Yeah I watched that last night before I went to bed, now they just got to get the price down. Really don't sound that bad or nothing it sounds really good just got to get that overinflated price down to about 175 or so
Just what I thought. The Soundcore is miles away from the BB3 but a close contender to the Tribit. The only competition to the BB3 for now is probably the W King X/D 20 due to its real 3 way speaker configuration. Despite all marketing efforts you have shown that Soundcore is in fact more expensive than its closest competition.
It would be hard to recommend the Boom 2 Plus over the Tribt Blast for price alone. Performance wise they are in the same ballpark overall for my enjoyment.
Anyone who prefers one over the other…you could EQ the other speaker to sound exactly the same. As long as you can customize the EQ, these battles are kind of pointless.
The next up for the Boom 2 Plus will likely be the JBL Boombox 3, W-King X20 and Soundcore Rave Party 2. It may be a while before I would get to the F29 Max.
The Boom2Plus isn’t a bad speaker, but at $249.99 it’s overpriced. I’m thinking anywhere between $179.99 - $199.99 would be more accurate for this speaker.
Boom 2 PLus - Really ballanced from about 200 hz up. Decent retention of dynamics at full volume. Very strong mid bass but to the detriment of the low bass Stormbox blast - Better deep bass. Lower Price I have always felt Tribit should have just capped the Stormbox Blast at what is currently its 80% level. After that it has always suffered from serious compression. And yes, the W-King x20 blows both and even the boombox 3 away as far as max volume goes. It has some sound issues though of course.
That’s why I stopped supporting companies that lie to consumers. They won’t stop doing this if people keep buying their cheap ass speakers. Chinese companies have a lot less to lose when lying than established brands. Their cheap price tags make the lies not sting as much and consumers are willing to own 50 of their unsatisfactory speakers instead of own one quality one. Everyone who buys these cheaper speakers usually own like 40 of them because they are never truely satisfied with the inferior sound.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews It’s why many people rave about the W-KING X20. The fact that it gets super loud & holds the sound together at near max & or max volumes. Along with a better than average battery life.
They are good speakers but tribit have more deep bass than soundcore B2
Boom2 plus vs encore? Pls
Encore as a speaker especially for Bass.
Boom 2 for portability, and battery life.
If you're using it at home Encore is probably better, but you can carry your Boom 2 plus everywhere, and it's waterproof!
What’s the battery life when running at 100%?
I have yet to clock it from 100% battery to dead. Lots of factors at play like lights, bass mode on/off type of music, EQ settings......etc.
Yeah I watched that last night before I went to bed, now they just got to get the price down. Really don't sound that bad or nothing it sounds really good just got to get that overinflated price down to about 175 or so
I got a coupon of 150$ from soundcore
😂ya I wish
tribit have better sound but anker design hard choice :/
Close one, maybe the boom 2 plus is little better, more exciting sound, better vocals due to V shape.
The tribit hits the lower bass frequencies better hands down…even at max volume the low end bass is better
Just 50 dollars more you can get a second storm then just one soundcore.
u can buy boom 2 plus for 160$ on sale in my country actually, but 250$ for tribit
Which one can continue to play while floating in a swimming pool? 🤓😎
Трибит на высоте
Just what I thought. The Soundcore is miles away from the BB3 but a close contender to the Tribit. The only competition to the BB3 for now is probably the W King X/D 20 due to its real 3 way speaker configuration. Despite all marketing efforts you have shown that Soundcore is in fact more expensive than its closest competition.
It would be hard to recommend the Boom 2 Plus over the Tribt Blast for price alone. Performance wise they are in the same ballpark overall for my enjoyment.
Толку то от этих трех полос...
@@albertalbertov6406 I don't know what stripes you are referring to.

@@albertalbertov6406 I didn't see the other guy mention 3 stripes, either. 🤔
Tribit
Definitely!
Трібіт руле і невбиваєм! Маю такий)))
Cool!
Boom sounds cleaner tributary sounds very empty at times and the power is not as great as boom I can really hear the difference in my new earbuds
for 152 euro , as we speak , i pick the stormbox , it's almost to cheap :)
Anyone who prefers one over the other…you could EQ the other speaker to sound exactly the same. As long as you can customize the EQ, these battles are kind of pointless.
That makes some sense, in theory, but in actuality the drivers in each just can't produce the same tones, even with maximum EQ adjustments.
Tribit the king!
Hmmm interesting, can you do boom 2 plus vs dbsoars F29 Max?
The next up for the Boom 2 Plus will likely be the JBL Boombox 3, W-King X20 and Soundcore Rave Party 2. It may be a while before I would get to the F29 Max.
@JaysStraightUpReviews no worries that sounds like a really good line up honestly, thanks as always for the honest reviews
@@Jagistreviews no problem. I'll try to get to the F29 Max eventually.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Encore?
Boom 2 plus vs Onyx Studio please
I no longer have any of the Onyx Studio speakers on hand.
Damn, soundcore its louder!!😬
But not deeper
ไตรบิทฟังเพลง rock เสียงหลบ วงแคบกว่สเยอะ
Stormbox sounds so much better it wipes the floor with the soundcore for deep clean bass 😂
We oldschool djs are so deff by now we cant hear clearly😂😂😂
What did you say? 😆
Looks like Soundcore more LOUDER An boommer
The tribit sounds great but looks cheap and tacky. I hope they improve the cheap look on the next version.
В живую он выглядит не плохо!
The Boom2Plus isn’t a bad speaker, but at $249.99 it’s overpriced. I’m thinking anywhere between $179.99 - $199.99 would be more accurate for this speaker.
There's quite a bit of competition in that price/size range, which makes it harder to justify $250.
So Tribit is slightly ahead?
And my friend just bought Soundcore.
Should have bought the better one.
'I see comments here saying Tribit is better.'
It's really close between the Boom 2 Plus and the Stormbox Blast, Imo. It's just that the Blast is around $100 less.
The Souncore sounds easier to the ears and more refined overall. The Tribit a little more punch.
Boom 2 PLus - Really ballanced from about 200 hz up. Decent retention of dynamics at full volume. Very strong mid bass but to the detriment of the low bass
Stormbox blast - Better deep bass. Lower Price
I have always felt Tribit should have just capped the Stormbox Blast at what is currently its 80% level. After that it has always suffered from serious compression.
And yes, the W-King x20 blows both and even the boombox 3 away as far as max volume goes. It has some sound issues though of course.

first one song name please
Track info is listed in description. 😉
Tribit, better!
I hope the soundcore boom 2 plus can stand against wking x20.
boom plus 2 looks just better, nothing more
Looks can be deceiving. 😉
soundcore is more bass tribit is clear
Soundcore still cant beat the tribit ahahahahaha damn they need to go back to the drawing board and focus on sound over advertising
Anker is cheaper
@@juliancobain9970 cheaper for what? The boom 2 plus is 249 the blastbis 199 at full retail but consistently on sale for 155 to 145
