Why though? It may have the power but it has so many additions (like the freezer or the sound system) that add weight for no benefit to the run. Also all the extra lights are just asking for cops to stop you

Those D5 S8s are a beauty! I enjoyed the "teasers" of features implemented by Ai Design; the buttons and implementation are so clean. This thing is stealth af.
Awesome car. Awesome review. You talk literally about every factor about this car. I like how you talk about the ride as I’m always curious about the suspension and the S8 is one of performance cars that has really nice suspension. Other cars like the SQ5 also have really good suspension. Mercedes with the S class is probs still my fav car atm I think just because of the ride. Unless there is one comfier. In the UK the roads are just so bumpy so by having nice suspension, it makes driving more pleasant and smooth
It's a beautiful car out of the box. With these upgrades it transforms the S8, into your own. Not your neighbors. Definitely not the S8 from Ronin. Although for the time, that S8 M/T was epic.

"They don't look tacked on." The antennas are literally tacked onto the trunk lid. The integrations in the rest of the car are well done, but that was an oversight. It looks terrible.
those are designed to appear like an unmarked police car
I personally like the look of it because it reminds me of the GPS Antenna on the Trunk Lid of the A8 D2.
@@TedwardDrives It just looks so out of place though, and I guess it's a subjective discussion at that point. But as a shop it's weird they would do that, if the rest of their work is so seamless.
They mimicked an actual police car as requested and They nailed it.
Still my favorite Audi, until today. I like it better than even the RS6 and RS7.

This review was done entirely in Comfort+ mode. Press the "*" symbol on the steering wheel to switch suspension, exhaust and steering input to Dynamic.
A shame this lost the v8 with the new generation kinda was part of the charm

@@pilotvanquish3886 private security or maybe a gov asset (spy) type of vehicle? Looks like how the FBI hooks up their whips a bit. But why would a civilian need siren’s besides a joke/gimmick type deal.
6:27 It looked kinda like the left hand air vent did not open properly, unless you can disable certain ones that is. Hope I'm wrong but that's why I thoroughly dislike some of these extra, unnecessary features that just create more things to break.
Like cars with hidden headlights that have to rotate open, or the backup camera hidden under the logo plate which raises when you shift into reverse. What do you do when the reverse camera cover doesn't open anymore? Go spend money to fix yet another part that had no business even being there in the first place.

I love the s8 since i watch it in transporter but which one is better s8 or rs7 ?
S8 is luxury, RS7 is hardcore performance. So what's better depends on your wishes. They have the same basic engine and turbo's in this generation. S8 used to be a V10 in the Jason Statham trilogy transporter. But most audi's in those movies were W12 engines. S8 V10 is recognizable by the Silver mirror caps. Look for it next time you see the movies. The 'refueled' movie was the V8 version.

The new Corvettes are too smooth and refined and they are not as fun as the C5 Z06, C6 Z06, and ZR1. Those cars are raw, especially with stage 3 cams. Growing old and boring is worse than growing old.
Smooth and refined is boring. I'd rather save all that money and buy an older turbo porshe 944, Mustang GT, '06 GTO, Camaro, C5 Z06, anything like that is way more fun.
