Part of my experience with VOLA is that the lyrics almost never make sense. Asger has a nice voice though so i take it in as more an instrument than hearing words. Hopefully a new album soon!
Many good twists and turns, but ye, the chorus lyrics were unfortunately an instant cringer. Hopefully we'll hear better lyrics like on Applause Of A Distant Crowd album, expectations are still high!
I really like this tune on the first few listens, but I think it will end up like Straight Lines did, and eventually it will be one of less listened to tracks.
@CynicalEntity Yep, Straight Lines was on repeat for me until the full album was out. At that point 24 Light Years and Stone Leader Falling Down were my favourites.
Whether I like a song or not is completely random for me. There can be two songs that sound super similar but one hits and the other doesn't. This one just doesn't hit for me. It seems very generic but I can't really explain why
