when i was first building lego back in the 80s, and i got my hands on the early technic sets that were out there, like the car chasis, and the jcb digger, and although these were no doubt great sets for there time, not all the parts seemed to be all technic parts, and even if this did mean that i could use said parts in my normal building ideas, such as spaceships, but since then technic lego has improved so much, that sometimes when you built a set it`s almost like the real life vechicle has been shrunk down in size, and while generally technic lego sets are not really much easier to build, and if anything they seem to be even worse with each new set that seems to come out, but then i suppose thats the whole point, and especially if you spend the money and time on some of the larger sets, what you usually end up with apart from broken fingers is a lego creation that will still be amazing to look at many years from now, and i will be excited to find out what those good people at lego can come up with in the future.
This is perfect for my son's 12th birthday since he wanted to be an architect

As somebody who operates this type of machine every day at a scrap yard, I WANT IT!!!
i think the old yellow one is better ^^
so much thought went into this (Y)
I just finished that lego set myself today
I wonder if I can order pneumatic parts in the crick and pieces part of the site
Every time I see this set it reminds me of the Chernobyl claw.
Just ordered 4 grey pneumatic cylinders, imo the only thing cool about this set.
A ridiculously overpriced set with weak building quality and of course the "mandatory" blue pins...
Don't buy it if you have some self respect!
