  • This updated video shows the new Export menu in PowerDirector and how to upload directly to RUclips. It also shows the step-by-step procedure from Google about logging into your RUclips account and granting permission to PowerDirector so that it has access to your account and can complete the video upload.

Thank you for the video. I'm not clear if you render the video before the process you just shared in this video.

Go back to the video and start watching at "ruclips.net/video/ShynCRbJshs/видео.html" which will take you right to where the upload process is starting. The very next thing that happens is that your video is rendered and saved to your hard drive. Once that is done, then the new video file that exists on your hard drive is uploaded to RUclips.
So the answer to your question is "No, you do not render the video before you start any of this process". The entire process itself does two things, (1) it renders your video and saves it, and then (2) it uploads the video to RUclips.
Good question to ask though. It probably wasn't exactly clear in my video because I used just a 10 second video and the process jumped though both tasks very quickly. I actually edited the video to slow down the process so that my big-blabber mouth didn't get way behind the true time of the process.

cool I like the "there subscribe and press the bell icon, I have a question of once you have logged into the youtube from cyber does it remain connected or do you have to reconnect each time?

No, Cyberlink does NOT remain connected to your RUclips account once it completes the current upload. In fact, I tried some back to back uploads separated only by 5 minutes at most, and in each case I had to go through the same procedure all over again. This may sound like a pain the the behind, but I wouldn't want any source maintaining access to my account once it completed what it was told to do.
If you recall from this video, a PowerDirector user that is uploading a video actually never sees RUclips either before or during the upload. All he does is login on the Google account screen and then grants access to PowerDirector. Once the video is uploaded, only then could he click on the "View on RUclips" button in PowerDirector or just open a browser and go visit RUclips like anybody else.
And just for the sake of other long term PowerDirector users, I know most of you have been led to believe that once you granted permission, you never needed to do it again. That is not what I am experiencing in the latest version. I have to go through the entire procedure each time including the proving that its me on the phone by tapping a number that is given on the Google computer screen.
And just for the sake of truth and transparency here, this user "@Imkenster08" is actually a good friend but a DaVinci Resolve user instead of a PowerDirector. Both he and I watch each others channels about video editing using these two different platforms and we openly help each other with suggestions and criticisms. I've never uploaded to RUclips from PD.
If someone asks me why? I don't know, habits I think.
So I have a question: Is there a difference ❓❓❓

There is no difference in the video if uploaded directly from PowerDirector. All it does is save you a few steps such as opening a browser, logging into your RUclips Studio page, clicking on upload, browsing to and selecting the video to be uploaded, and a few other small things required by RUclips. Think of the direct upload from PowerDirector as "one stop shopping".
But there is one detail that the direct upload leaves out, the ability to have your own chosen thumbnail. You can upload it after the direct upload but that requires you to open a browser, log into your RUclips Studio page,......... Well, you get the idea. If you have to go to the Studio page just for that, you might as well forget about the direct upload and just use the manual method from the Studio page.
I've pointed this out to Cyberlink and I thought the most recent update would have fixed that. Not yet.
