At the first sale there was a misunderstanding at the end. The man corrected her on the price of his item. I took money out. Instead of paying her $46, the amount was adjusted. As they were adjusting it I had $41 dollars out of my wallet and offered that so she did not have to make change. Just wanted to clarify.
I have been a reseller since 1982 and have never asked will you take! You know how much they paid and the deal was there! Also a yard sale takes a lot of work as you know.
.
Then you are a rare breed. Most people dicker at yard sales. I am a reseller and ask if they'll take less if I feel like something is priced too high.
I always ask for a deal and 95% of the time people are more than ok with negotiating. Most sellers expect it and they always have the option of saying no, just like when I have offers on my online stores.
They work hard on their sale and I work hard on my sales, that doesn't mean you are ripping them off by asking for a better price.
I, personally, will always recommend asking. The name of the game is buying as low as possible to increase profits especially when you do it as a source of income.
I hate that!! Take it or leave it! Also stop digging through my stuff at 7am when sign says 9-4
I definitely agree to the early digging thing, I think that's just rude however I do not think asking for a discount especially when buying in bulk should be considered an insult. I mean I wouldn't ask if it's pennies on the dollar but at some yard sales people expect almost retail prices and I don't think it hurts to ask.
FYI - The striped textured fabric on the Tigger toy is called seersucker.
Ticking?
That pan you were looking for lid to fit it was a pressure cooker. Takes a special lid.
I thought about that when I watched the video. Thank you!
My husband and I were at the same first yard sale in this video! We came after you based on what I see you picked up. Good stuff!
Maybe I'll see you at a future sale!! Make sure you say hello!! Thanks for watching!!
You got some very nice things again! Interesting sales. Especially the old house. If you go back for their estate sale that’s going to be fun! 😊. Have an awesome day!
That's the plan! Thank you, Donna!
Depose means "made in". Its not the name of company. The nativity piece are likely Fontannini and you should have grabbed them.
I normally would have, but I was not sure how much he would let me buy due to the estate sale in a few weeks. I have quite a few of the Spyder ones to list still sitting in a box.
Absolutely loved the period bedroom furniture! And oh my, the nativity pieces, along with the barn! And again all of the lamps! I don’t know where to look first! Everything looked great! I just adore antique furniture and things!
I’m so glad you enjoyed that. I actually just went to an estate sale at a Victorian house so that video should be coming out soon too.
I grew up in a house just like that over 100 years old. Of course it was haunted lol
The old ones sometimes are. Lots of history.
Those are not the lids for the pan - that pan is a pressure cooker and the lid is the same composition and has a handle like the pot’s - you put it on and turn it to line up with the pot’s handle which locks it…
Thank you, I realized it after I thought about it. Sometimes my brain is really slow! 🤦♀️
That 60's MOD hat WOW! Great Video games and Plushies. Wish I was there! FYI, while you are learning to identify items at the third garage sale, the Pot with no lid was the bottom of a Pressure Cooker.
😊
I know! I would have grabbed the hat! 🤩
Interesting variety. The old house was fascinating. My husband bought those books for each of our cars back in the day.
Thank you! Those books were popular back when there was no internet to look things up with.
Fabulous glass items!
Thank you, I can’t wait to see what they pull out for the estate sale.
I was yelling…. Get the tinker bell cell phone case I’ll buy it 🤣🤣🤣
I would have if the condition was better. I thought it was cute too! 😊
So many nice things hard to pick a favourite but the tigger was adorable 😊
Thank you! 😊
Note to self... Make sure to bring a small flash light for when you come back. Because those closets are Dark !! Or just keep one in your car for when you come across such good sales. Cause that house would be Very interesting to dig thru ! :~)
Good call! It will be a fun one!
I enjoy thrifting with you 😊 good luck 👍
Thank you!
@43:29 pause so you can read the sign. It is a waterbed however it was never used as one. They converted it to a normal bed and they still have the original liner, never used. Hope this helps!
That makes sense. It was hard when I pressed on it 😊
The pot without the lid was a pressure cooker, it takes a lid (with a gasket) that locks on.
Thank you 😊
The nun music box plays dominate you should have picked it up. My grandmother had one when I was very young, now old.
Good to know. I should have.
Ohhhh... you left the Juicy Couture With Tags behind at the first sale (1:08) I love Juicy Couture.
I sometimes do. It has always been hit or miss for me. The vintage stuff is doing better and picking up value. 😊
@@ShortGirlPicker Oh yes, I understand missing stuff. I sometimes do as well. The Vintage Juicy is great! :)
The pot you couldn't find the lid to is a older pressure cooker that had the little jiggle thing on the top.
Thank you! 😊
17:24 those were cute - are you sure they’re not old? 26:52 that’s a cool house to get to rummage around in.
Some were newer. They had heavy seams on them. I did grab the little bear. He was much heavier than the rest. 😊
“I thought for sure that was a waterbed but it’s not a waterbed.” Doesn’t the sign on it literally say it IS a waterbed? I’m so confused 😊😊😊
The bed part was hard I touched it. I was confused too! 🤷♀️
Oh boy I’m a reseller have yard sales hard to make good money people only offer cheap prices. Frustrating
I agree that's why I stopped doing garage sales, you know they are going to make a profit by low balling you .I rarely watch these resellers channels they beyond irritate me
Your total at the first sale was $46 and you only gave her $41…that’s why she had a confused look on her face.
The price was not correct. The man corrected her on his item at the end.
That pot is a pressure cooker the lid is oversized n twist n locks
Thank you.
Please make a video if you go back to the estate sale when they have it later!!
I sure will 😊
Where was the estate sale? Williamsburg? If you wish to share. The house had so much character, I hope someone will take the time to rehab rather than raze. Watching along
It was in Poquoson. Nice area older homes, big lots. She had run a store out the downstairs level. It was very interesting.
❤👍
😊 Thank you.
Hi from Darla❤❤❤❤😊
Hello!! Thank you for watching!
Was that Tigger made of the fabric called seersucker??
Yes, that’s it! 😊
The Tigger fabric, seersucker?
Yes 😊
Video camera
I had to go back and rewatch that twice. She did short the lady $5.00
The price was not correct. The man’s item was less and he let her know at the end.
His item was 3.00 less so the total should have been 43.00. Right?
Yes, that's correct and I had $41 dollars so rather than making her make change for another $20 dollar bill, I asked if she'd just do the $41 and she agreed. Thanks for watching.
How do I buy the kittens?
Here is the link to the Ebay store. Thank you.

You seem to be in a little "sketchy" neighborhood???
Not really, just an older home. More farmland and space out there.
The waterbed is a waterbed- it said on the sign that was on the waterbed…
Yep she sure did ..
The man next to her corrected her on the price at the end.
