Don’t pay attention to any negative comments…. I watch your videos to learn what others pick and I make money every day by watching videos from you and a few others. When I see any of you miss something that I know was a “miss” it makes me realize my eye for good items is getting better. Making these videos has got to be challenging regardless of how good the technology has gotten. Thanks for the free education- keep it up!
I’ve bought chipped items, items that I over pay for, items I have ruined trying to clean or polish and who knows what I’ve missed. It’s all part of the process and I enjoy watching your process. You are so sweet and your kids are sweet and I appreciate you sharing your life with us. ❤

I think your channel is going to do well. You're easygoing and real. Try not to let the nasty comments get you down. I feel sorry for the people who are so unhappy that it makes them feel better to be mean. Misery loves company, I guess. By the way, I miss stuff all the time. Hello, I really enjoyed watching your video this evening. The "little girl" picture you picked up is titled "Baby Stuart" and the original oil was painted by Sir Anthony Van Dyck, in the 1600's. I remember as a child, my great aunt had a framed print, and I was enamored with the picture. She told me it was "Baby Stuart" and I have never forgotten. It was nice to see a print again after all these years, and I believe you were somewhat taken by it as well. 🙂 I will be watching again! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.

Your channel is my absolute favorite to watch. I love seeing your process. I typically only source clothes but you’ve put things on my radar that I used to pass up like vintage picture frames. Ignore the peanut gallery. No one can know everything about everything. Besides, learning is half the fun.

@@ForestandFaye I supported my family as an eBay seller since the 90’s. I then sold on Amazon for many years as well. I “retired” six years ago, after our farm and acreage was paid off.
I started part time selling again, on my personal account to avoid becoming a hoarder. 😂😂
The grandchildren are growing up, leaving me with way too much time to thrift. 😁

32:19 minutes in. I have sold tartan skirts similar to these. Some sold fast and two sold slow - well over a year. Even though same brand as what you are sharing, so perhaps its the name of the pattern and style that affect price. We had a dear friend pass away and her husband handed us her collection from a Scottish Festival she attended each year.

I would use a go pro instead of carrying your camera. Go hands free. It will make such a big difference. Love you videos
I loved that cane knitting bag. Cane is big now, but I am an always fan of cane items. I keep my mouth shut in the check out line even though I’m usually so excited. I’ve had the ladies change prices on me (recently, the price changed 4.25X, yes 425% on an item).
How about carrying a tote bag to put things in as u go through a sale???

I think I’m learning that the majority of the people that watch and like the video just don’t comment, because I know I rarely if ever comment on my favorite videos. But it’s hard to keep that in front of mind when the negative ones swoop in. I’m learning, just let it roll off. A journey, indeed!

Understand that most people, while they may have a negative overtone, do teach you, so look at them with a different perspective - learning tools. Just like you use online research tools, comments can be tools. I’m sorry people have not been kind, that’s uncalled for. I believe viewers watch these type of videos to learn themselves so they can get frustrated when they perceive your lack of knowledge. But you can still learn by watching your videos.

Do you mainly do smalls, or do you have a booth somewhere. Because in the estate sale by appointment, on the second floor in the bedroom was a chair Windsor high back, they are great sellers for primitive buyers. In the first estate sale the yellow bench under the pinky towels you were looking at, should have been a buy for you.
Faye, I just purchase an end table almost identical to the one at 12:36 in the video. It has the magazine rack on the front and the top hinges open and there is a ton of storage. I know magazine racks are a thing of the past so we are using it to store our Bibles for our daily Bible study.
I won mine for $12.50 in a HiBid auction. 😂 Just so weird that I see one almost identical to the one in your video. I love thrifting and flipping.

I started a channel a couple of years ago...people are hateful and it took youtube 8hrs to upload a video.
We don't have by appointment only, but they do look up everything on eBay then subtract then that's what they charge !! I don't like that company!
