As I watched the video again, I could see that this stunning place needs some work - paneling is splitting, wallpaper needs replacement. But what a treasure to own. Many of the other chateau-owners are trying to create an income with the house - making a wedding venue or a bed and breakfast. Either way, it's wonderful to see these lovely buildings getting restoration and maintenance.
yea there are so many chateau b&Bs and wedding venues, or gites rented out. i would prefer gite rental, seems less intrusive and less work but can be a nice extra income
