What Is The Best Pen For Students? It's the Best Erasable Pen!

  • If you are looking for the best pen for student, then to me you are asking for the best erasable pen of 2018. And that is certainly the Pilot FriXion Clicker Retractable Gel Pen ( amzn.to/2Fojqwf ).
Why is this? Because students take tests and students do work that is meant to be shared, both of which mean corrections will have to take place, so you want a good erasable pen. You also want something with a long life, dependable ink, highly legible ink and quick writing, so gel works great. That's why I would recommend the Frixion in a nice blue 0.7mm.
If you absolutely can't do a clicker then get the Frixion Ball ( amzn.to/2FlqYj4 ) which includes a cap. It writes just as well but I prefer the retractable design?
Why trust me? I was a student and I used these pens for dozen upon dozens of hours of notetaking and takes. And I have poor handwriting so an erasable was a must for me. I'm also picky about my pens, so I put a lot of thought into my writing utensils!

Yep, pretty good. I have the frixion ball pilot. My only takeaway is the waste tint too fast for me.

I have some of those and I like them. I'm just weary of leaving them in a hot car or using them to write on mail because if it gets got the ink will disappear.
I know it's unrelated but I have fallen in love with the Pilot Dr Grip Ltd gel pen. I've always like the G2 refills and how they write but I've never cared for how the G2 pens look. It's basically a nicer Pilot pen that accepts the G2 refills. It's very nice.

      Final Thoughts and Reminders
Historically, there has been a general preference (not legal requirement) towards blue ink. This is because blue ink easily distinguishes an original document. Black ink can be confused with a photocopy, especially over time as the ink fades. If there are instructions for a document to be signed in a specific color, those instructions should be followed. Parties are free to request that people sign in a certain color if they choose.
Although the ink color is one factor, the most important element of a signature is the parties’ intention. Did each party intend to sign? If they did, the form of the signature (including the ink color) is usually irrelevant. Therefore, people can sign with gibberish and still be found to have genuinely signed the agreement. This means someone can’t get out of a contract just because they signed with a signature different from their own. The same goes for color.

Frixion pens leave gaps as they travel. I have been through about 20 cartridges, it is consistent. I am now looking for an alternative. Just for info.

Yeah, maybe will "railroad" based on the paper and amount of pressure you use. Try a narrower size?

I love that noise. To me it makes the pen more "lively".
