    @RedGaming FE2 - I saw your comment notification, but very strange as it doesn't appear on this thread. In any case, your question was your "Friz Click Eraseable Pen" wasn't working and you're wondering if you need an ink cartridge. The Friz pen is not the same as the friXion pen, however I'm sure that they work the same way. If there's no ink coming out, try putting it into the freezer for 20-30 minutes. The cold will likely re-activate the ink and you should be good to go. Let me know how it works!

      @@austinfusselman656 no, You can't erase other inks because the FriXion pen uses special ink. That special ink is supposed to erase at a certain temperature, while others use regular ink. The eraser is basically rubber, and rubber makes a lot of friction and friction creates heat and heat makes the ink erase.

My suggestion would be to forgo even the correction tape and just strike out any mistakes neatly(as per the regulations on many major examinations).

    • @EdTchoi
      @EdTchoi  4 года назад +2

      The "eraser" is not like your traditional rubber eraser. It's more of a hard plastic and it doesn't look like it will wear out since it's so hard. What erases the ink is actually the heat from the friction of the plastic "eraser" on the ink itself. FYI - I don't think the erasers are replaceable, but I doubt you'd ever wear it down. Thanks so much for watching my video and hope this answer helps! Remember to subscribe if you haven't done so already :)

      It does wear down actually, I've used mine for a year and the eraser was only like a bit left. So, you don't really have to worry too much because it wears down not too quickly. (even if it broke off or ran out you could just use normal erasers, they do work with the ink too just a bit slow at erasing or buy their replacement eraser)

    • @EdTchoi
      @EdTchoi  4 года назад

      Sorry to hear it's not working! Here's some great tips I gathered from Rocket Book with regards to some trouble shooting tips for your friXion pen when it doesn't write properly:
      1. Moisten the tip of your pen before scribbling on a piece of scratch paper
      2. Lightly press your pen on scratch paper and see if it will start writing
      3. Shake the pen by holding on to the back end of the pen opposite the tip and shake the pen like a thermometer- sometimes air bubbles get into the ink cylinder, so shaking the ink down toward the tip is a good idea
      4. Tap the pen tip against a desk or other hard surface
      5.Write on an eraser or another rubber surface
      Lastly, if these tips don't work, try putting your pen in a freezer for about 10 minutes as your pen might have been exposed to heat which may prevent it from writing properly.
      Let me know how it goes!

      TURTLE The friXion ink will disappear when temperatures hit 140°F/60°C so it’s unlikely that the ink will disappear in a hot climate. Having said that, there’s a good chance that it might disappear if your notebook was kept in a car in a hot climate.

    What's wrong with buying a Frixion pen before seeing this video, as the title suggests? The only thing the video does in 7 minutes is highlight the fact that you can erase what you've written.
    The reason I use these pens is because they always start writing immediately. Most ballpens need some 'trying out' (or priming, whatever you wanna call it) before they start writing, which I find really cumbersome.

    • @EdTchoi
