In this Vlog episode of my bikepacking nomad life, you will get an impression of what it really means to me to live on the road. I have the desire to introduce you to very special people and to show you my everyday life as authentic as I can.
My personal journey is not about my daily routes, my pace or my bike set up. I want to show you the simplicity of life and the joy of living.

What a great video! I love how your night in the middle of nowhere and a scary man with a flashlight turned into a few days of beautiful memories and real connection with another human being! I also love that you did the interview on camera. Definitely inspired me to do interviews as well! I see that you're riding without helmet. Maybe in flat areas I could understand you if you don't go fast, but downhill without helmet is very dangerous! I've had accidents twice where helmets saved me. The first one, in 2018, being a very nasty one where despite wearing helmet I got a concussion and whiplash. Stay safe!
it has really been a nice encounter! thanks for your words, and yeah, the helmet thing.... dont worry i just recently bought a new helmet. Had one that didnt fit my head. But yes, safety first ;))

Hey Giant Cheerio,may I just say how much I have enjoyed your videos…as they give a very real perspective of bike packing/touring.the highs and the lows and everything in between.two things I may suggest to you?first personal protection-an aerosol spray can of insect repellent is as good as ‘mace’ if unable to buy the real thing.if sprayed into the face and eyes of a would be attacker it disables them immediately.secondly your tire pump is small yes but hard work to use.try and find a Zefal aluminium bodied hp X2.with the high pressure turnable end on the handle.no longer available new but worth its weight in gold as will pump your tires up easily and hard…up-to 160psi and will last a lifetime.black with white writing.ask for one in a long established bike shop as they may still have a fresh one out the back.

Thanks for your comment! Protection is important and I already found my personal Protection but I'm always happy to extend my "weapons". And about the pump... yeah, I definetely need a new one! My arm almost falls off after pumping up the tire!

You are a superwoman, no one would do the things you are doing. I did cycled alone in Iceland and I feel how it's to be alone and to get scared by small things even though I'm a fucking grown ass lol.
