@Vader81-d2k TBOLTUSA.com has a throttle that has a throttle limiter screw for $25.00 The bike only goes about 20 mph in 2nd gear. You could just tell him to stay in first or 2nd gear until he is comfortable with the bike and yall are at a track somewhere.
Wow, and this is why my 250cc X-Motos I bought about 17 years ago came with regret because it's such a damn big bike. It's fast and has a ton of power and solid features, but I soon realized I would have preferred something more nimble in weight that could be used as a stunt bike and the difference in power is trivial since I'm an electronics engineer and inventor that can mod it like no one else's for a lot more power. *I'm posting this so people are aware before making a decision.* *My 250 Vitacci Pentora on the other hand is not regretted in the least!* With my recent mods, I'll be doing 70 mph and still able to pull wheelies just off of the torque alone.
@@N8te_ I'm not sure , the top speed for my bike is supposed to be a max off 55 depending on the weight of the rider. It could be your weight ,your gearing, the land your riding on etc...
You likely need to make what are called the "breather" mods. The Chinese have been really sharp and cunning in how they equip these bikes for stock so their true power is significantly choked off. Getting a bigger intake and a better muffler helps. Also wrapping as much of the pipe in heat insulation will make a significant leap in power you never expect. I made a coupling so my exhaust has a 2.5" i.D. glass pack fireball car muffler and wrapped 70 feet of insulation tape around the header/pipe. *Another mod I never expected to do much of anything was installing the popular 3 electrode platinum spark plug!* That made a gain that was just absurd on my 250cc Vitacci Pentora but people claim they're crap; B.S. the gain in power was utterly absurd. Also, getting the higher end CDI than the stock really smooths out performance across the full range of power. Another mod is to put oversized fuel line on them so they always have an excess available and using a couple inches of stock sized hose with a coupling. *Even that made a significant increase in both my dirt bike and 4-wheeler's power.* All of these simple mods can be done for around 50 to $75 if you're willing to hunt Amazon and Ebay for a couple hours finding the absolute best deals.
@@DomToLit X-Pro Storm 125cc There is a link in the description to the bike. It would fit you great height wise. I'm not sure of your weight. Max weight is 160lbs.
I have same bike but mines a 2021. When I’m riding it around the track going from 1st to 2nd gear it dramatically Boggs down until I get it back up in rpm’s. I basically need to keep it in 2nd gear or else the bog is so bad it won’t even wanna move. Any idea? I was thinking of getting the nibbi carburetor but not sure if it sounds more like cdi box. Seems like bike hits rev limiter pretty easily going down a straight away.
I would take the Carburetor apart and make sure the jets are all the way clean. Clean your air filter also then run it through the gears and see how it does.
@@MartinRacingChannel thanks man. That's kind of crazy, says net weight 123, wish they would get their numbers right on all these sites. No way you could have added 23 pounds of oil and gas lol. Or beef up parts and keep same weight. Looking to drop a 190 in something. Doing an ultimate lightweight build. Just haven't decided on what to start with.
@letsgetit3310 I've taken it off some really big jumps and wrecked it multiple times. The bike is pretty strong. The rear suspension had to be upgraded, it really needs an adjustable chain roller. I've broken a few rear spokes and replaced the front suspension. The bike is light enough to bunny hop like a bicycle. We started the channel buying these bikes because they were so light and had the power to run with multiple pit bikes. Depending on your size, the seat is going to need attention. It's like a ktm 50sx with the same dimensions as a crf 110.
@letsgetit3310 Pretty much everything that can be done I've done to mine. I have a ton of videos on the bike and if you have any questions I'll try to help the best I can. A 190 in the bike will be ridiculously wild. The big bore kit and v2 head was hard to keep the front down with traction and it was difficult to get traction at the same time 😁 Rooster tails or front end up. You have to sit way up on the front of the seat. I just had a dnm custom shock made for the bike and it is doing great so far.
