- Having difficulty catching speckled trout? Try Oso bridge. I've been fishing this bridge since childhood, and it is still producing quality fish. Speckled trout for me is the most common caught fish but Oso does hold redfish and flounder also. Thanks for watching!

I caught a 29”trout on the other side before the bridge, right across college. It was our first time out there still learning our way around corpus. So much fun!

Wading there2 days ago caught our limit of trough on 2 feet float drop....on live shrimp....some drum.....and a few reds on btm. live piggies.....that area always produces....Great Vid.

@@Coastal_Rootz_Fishing thanks I’m getting my beast back from the transmission shop in a couple of days and the first place I’m going is back to C.C. Where I was born. I lived on the west side and was born on N.A.S. Lived there until I moved to the Austin area in 2000. I still fish there 3 to 4 times a year. But I’m trying to sell my 5 acres and move back. Next time you go to the bridge try a chartreuse and gold top water over by where the old boat ramp was on the west side wade out about 10’ from the shore and fish it back towards the bridge if the mullet are there and it’s not rough you’ll catch some nice trout. Sorry to run on but I’m 63 and love to talk fishing.

Does it get deep out there? Is there mangrove snappers or sheepshead’s there?
The main channel that goes right under the middle of oso bridge oso pretty deep, but every where else you can pretty much wade and fish. Just be careful for stingray's, I almost stepped right on a big on the other day. Yes, it does hold mangroves, but I haven't seen too many sheepshead pulled out of there.

Bro i haven't fished that area in yrs. I know they go gigging to the left of you on the other side. Go for flounder or get a few good size stingrays
